But did was he there for someone else? Maybe someone he knows has Jayme and they asked that he go into the home to get some clothes for her?
I don't know. That doesn't make sense either does it? Just as easy to go to a walmart and grab some clothes.
It’s not about the clothes themselves, it’s the fact that these clothes belong to a particular person that gives these guys their kicks. It’s usually a sexual thing.

I said the same thing. Why didn't they use this all grown up picture of Jayme. I answered myself with this; " LE has done an amazing job. They have every picture. For some reason they chose the younger Jayme pictures."
Maybe someday we will know. Interesting though.
In my opinion, LE wouldn't use Jayme's "glam shots" because she isn't going to look like this if she's seen.

Law enforcement seems to be dealing in a lot of absolutes here. Guaranteeing that Jayme is alive, saying there's no threat to the community, and now clearing this guy unequivocally. Like BeeGirl said, it makes you wonder what exactly they have that makes them so confident. JMO

Man! You look away for twelve seconds and come back and there's been a search and thief? So do we know anything else about the search besides the tweet from Paul Blume at Fox?

Paul Blume on Twitter
Only that they didn't find anything.

Sounds like he is a freak who likes girls underwear and took advantage of an empty house. No way he would be bailed if a suspect in the murders. Or that he “has” Jayme imo. If someone does have her, they can easily get clothes for her at a store.

The guy just sounds like a perv with a fetish of young girls underwear. At first I thought he was in to get criminalbilia. I know people will pay a lot for mememorabilia for infamous crimes. But he is just a nobody in this case.

Saying that Jayme is alive, is standard practice. It keeps the focus on finding a living person. It’s far more productive than telling the public that they are likely looking for a body. It’s effective.

There is no known/credible threat to the public. Also pretty standard. “Take usual precautions” is usually the token line.

Clearing this guy unequivocally, prevents tips from pouring in that they know won’t be helpful. They don’t want unnecessary distractions that can hurt their primary investigation.

I take this last one at face value, they have ruled him out.

LE will never say a missing person is likely dead without proof...i.e crime scene, a confession. They want people to be keeping an eye out, just in case. LE doesn’t know, any more than we do, whether she is alive or not, imo.

Even with a rock solid alibi (if one exists), I wouldn’t clear him from possibly being an accessory after the fact. He took her clothes. It could have been for her. When he was homeless he probably crashed on friends’ couches and could feel he owes people favors. He also could have become very familiar with unoccupied cabins during that time.

He's been officially cleared. LE doesn't clear people willy-nilly.
For perspective, consider that you and I haven't even been "officially cleared". ;)
They know he wasn't involved in the Closs family case.
Maybe they have prints to compare, along with a solid alibi.
IDK, but I think it's safe to move on from KJA.

Anyone checked and see if he bonded out yet?

If I was an LEO, I'd let his creepy tail go just to follow him and see where else he goes....

I think he'll be held until trial since he was on bail conditions for similar crime in August.

No problem here with the fact he's been cleared...
Also, if he knew the perps or was 'helping' them now as has been suggested - frankly I think he'd rather take the reward money & run then help them....

Bail was set for this new case at $5000 carrying the terms of the previous bail conditions. Not clear if he bonded out. If he is a smart chicken he will stay in jail for now.

It is extremely rare for LE to announce the community is in danger. It rarely ever happens.

I have so many cases in my head right now that the list would be overly long if I even named some of them.

Yet in countless cases the community including children were in danger since the prepetrator/s were complete strangers to the victims they had murdered and/or kidnapped young children from their homes.

Perhaps in their defense they know they dont have to tell anyone in the community to be safe until the suspect is caught and already know everyone will be on heightened alert as long as the suspect isn't caught. They sure wouldnt have to tell me.

So after years of seeing this same thing coming from LE I have learned to pay that no mind.

One example among countless others was when the two Husted parents were murdered inside of their home. LE told the community they believed the parents were specifically targeted leaving the impression they knew their killer. Wrong! The murderer invaded their home to rob it. He killed them in front of their small child.

He was a 100 percent total stranger and before he was finally caught he broke into another home and almost killed another woman who was also inside of her home.

It has always infuriated me to no end when LE makes assumptions BEFORE they even have a darn clue who the actual suspect may be.

They warned no one even when a young child or children were abducted from their home only to learn later they had been kidnapped..raped and murdered by a stranger pedophile.

But they do it over and over again no matter the state it happens in.

The only one I can remember that did warn the community was when little Jessica Ridgeway was found murdered.

ITA with you. Richmond police said there was no threat to the community when the Harvey family was murdered. It turned out to be a totally random crime with the killers walking right into the family's wide open front door. Since then, we have kept our front door closed and locked.

The Harvey murders were solved by calls to the police from a woman who realized the killers were staying in her own home.

Everyone in the Barron community should be vigilant. Vacant homes and lake vacation homes should be checked. It bothers me that a co-worker of the Closs' parents also has a criminal record and entered their home. All employees should be interviewed by LE. JMO

I don't know if you guys have already discussed it but Jennie-O may have security cameras inside where people clock-in and clock-out (however they do it). If this guy was working, they may have already been able to quickly confirm it on security camera at the plant.

That’s exactly what I think happened.

Can someone please tell me if Mods have ok'd posting on the person cleared by police of some charges today?

Kyle Jaenke is all over Google.

Bail jumping was mentioned earlier, but I cannot find this man's name on CCAP for any other prior charges.

Although we won't know for sure for a long time, maybe ever, how he was cleared. IMO this is the most likely and logical conclusion.
