The Sheriff definitely says 'killers'. So is this a slip of the tongue or are there two perps involved? If there are two then this would be more ominous for Jayme IMO.
Wow. I had seen the word gunmen used in media in this case recently but couldnt find a quote or anything from LE about this. I dont like that idea. Do you think thats why theres 2 very different cars of interest? Did 2 suspects drive there separately?

There's a Barron city water waste department. I'd wager that house is on city water/sewer.

The home has a septic tank. A sleuther several threads back knew how to pull up the maintenance records for it.

Very good. I dug through the thread and didn't see that information. Thanks.

I can't make it out for certain, but if the sheriff definitively says "killer(S)" in that video, then that is significant and changes pretty much everything as far as motives and potential suspects goes. I've felt since they appealed to the public for info on multiple vehicles that that signaled multiple potential suspects.

If they are working on the theory of two perps, then that could very well be the case. The Sheriff looks very frustrated in his latest interview, i really feel for him.

If, in fact, there are two perps then it is harder for me to support a theory of random, rage fueled attack. Hard to get two people elevated to that level of rage equally and at the same time unless there is a definite underlying motive. But, that motive is elusive to me.

Also, I wonder if the LE has looked to see if both makes of cars are registered to the same family. I wonder if someone decided to do harm and the second car followed but not in time to prevent JC's murder. Now both people are involved and unable to go to the LE.

To clarify my part of the comment, I was responding to the previous posters reference to the "serious crime" and am not sure the arrest I know of is that arrest. If it is it was drug related (meth).
Sorry didn't mean to quote two post.
Thank you for informing me it was meth.

Does anyone know if Jayme was a babysitter for anyone?

I learned many things babysitting in my hometown, which is much smaller than Barron.

JMO and wondering

For anyone interested in the number and location of homes surrounding the Closs home, this is a good map showing each address in the Barron Township.

The first "hyway 8" icon to the left of Barron is the exact location of the Closs home.

I'm still stunned by hearing the sheriff say "killers"...
I don't know what to make of that.
Was there more than one gun used?
Why would 2 perps drive separate vehicles?
Did the cars drive off in the same direction?
Which one of them took Jayme?
Why?
:eek:o_O:confused::(

We’ve seen two perps before. That family in CT (Dr, wife, two girls). Money fueled, beat and raped them, set house on fire, etc. Those two didn’t know the family, just followed mom/daughters home and wanted money. So two evil, jacked up perps in this Closs case is certainly possible. I am believing that theory versus someone they knew.

This came full circle for me. Recently we were discussing the possibility of someone picking Jayme up on the road. My opinion was that IF that happened that it had to have been someone standing by in case she or one of her parents tried to get away, but I really wasnt sure I strongly believed that so I gave it little thought. It may sound dumb, but the 2 different cars of interest didnt hit me at that time. But if there were possibly multiple people in that house, in possibly different cars, this kind of makes me think differently about a few things.

I remember a case where an adult son came into his parents house in the night and shot them with a shotgun. The mother was shot in the face but was (surprisingly to the responding officers) still alive. They said they couldn't even put an oxygen mask on her because they didn't know where her mouth was. She managed to say her son shot them but after the surgeries and recovery she had no memory and denied that he was involved.
Yikes :(

If this was done by drug fueled meth heads they are known to do horrific crimes in packs.

However many murders had the rage and hate aspect in them and they were done by complete strangers involving only one suspect.

Strangers who decided to torture...even rape adults and small children and then overkill all of the victims they did not know.

Imo

Honestly, what a bizarre happenstance -- remains found near the corporate HQ of Jennie-O. I am assuming no connection here, but such a strange development in a heartbreaking, frustrating case.
I still think it’s weird that a worker of jenni O broke in to take her clothes?? I wasn’t logged in during that happening discussion so I don’t want to resurrect it, but it’s a very strange coincidence?? Maybe everyone in the town works at Jenni o though?

Were there 2 difft weapons used? Wonder what would make them think 2 killers? If that indeed is what they are thinking

He needed some clothes. Also said he liked ladies clothes for some reason. Door was open.
Strangest thing ever. You can’t make this “s#it” up.

It's such a small town, seems like living in a fishbowl where everybody knows everybody, So it's really hard to fathom how this can go on for this long.
And don't nobody know nothin.
What would the motive be? To go in guns blazing, and waste such a beautiful, loving couple, and take their daughter? Why?
