Sheriff said nothing *that they know of yet* had been taken from the home. I'd think family/friends would know if he had a firearm that was missing. I doubt they'd tell us, but, I think they would have phrased the answer differently if that was that case ...

Very interesting to finally hear from James' family. According to his sister, James worked 60-80 hours a week and didn't go anywhere else except home. He kept to himself and the family at first thought it had to be someone from work but nothing like that has come up that they know of. They didn't know of any financial issues or anything else that James could be involved in trouble wise. They also said that if someone wanted Jayme there were lots of times she was alone-- like waiting at the bus stop. The crime doesn't make any sense to them either.

Even though this case has gone nowhere, We are FINALLY getting some things to go on. With the Dryden Interview, the Paul Blume interview and now this, We can get some answers about what the victims were like. Not that it is owed to us, by any means, but I have been thinking from the beginning that They are outwardly asking the public for help but They weren't letting us hear about the victims routines and what not. Now, just from that one interview we know that James worked 70-80 per week and the whole Gambling theory is not even a possibility to me. Not that it ever was but now I can pretty much dismiss any time someone is speaking of it

Well that Fox9 interview cleared up a few things. The family said all James’ guns were still in the house and accounted for after the murder...the gun that killed them was someone else’s gun. And Denise apparently talked to her sister that Sunday nite as late as 10:00 PM.

Also insisting that Jayme didn’t have an older boyfriend.

IIRC the info on the vehicles came out much later than the AA. TheAA was ut out within 3 hours with no vehicle info.

Does anyone know whether the investigators have given a specific reason for excluding Kyle T. Jaenke-Annis as a suspect? If not, I can't believe this board isn't focusing more (if not exclusively) on this guy.

I mean, he broke into the house, knew exactly where Jayme's room was located, took clothing (possibly including underwear, depending on your source), and when asked why he took the clothes and whatever other odds and ends answered that he didn't think anyone would miss the object and that he was interested in what size Jayme was/is. Combine that with the fact that he works at the Turkey factory and I think we have to be nuts not to view him as the prime suspect, regardless of what the police say.

But why, then, would they charge him only for the burglary/theft/trespass, you may ask. My guess is that the police felt that, if Jayme were being held somewhere, their best bet at locating her in time to help rested with tracking Jaenke-Annis once he bonded out. Again, maybe he was at work or something when the crime occurred, but he definitely could have been helping someone out by collecting the clothes from the house.

Am I way off base here?

The sheriff said in an interview this week that he has been ruled out as a suspect as he had a solid alibi. I think he may still be in jail, but I’m not positive.

was just a thought that flickered, not well thought out. the cctv footage bothers me, the how does that happen, so poor but color, then the thoughts just kind of mingled together I guess.

I know people here say how advanced and highly technical most casinos are, but is the one in Turtle Lake as advanced. I remember reading that it is very small and kind of old. Maybe the surveillance there isn't as up to date as bigger , more populated casinos? Hence, cameras outside didn't take the type of clear images we would expect OR clearly focus on the entire parking area.IMO

Which in hindsight let time go by. Maybe anytime a minor goes missing an Amber alert should be activated. These crimes are escalating, maybe time to revamp the criteria? IMO

Interesting that all James' guns were accounted for.
The other thing is, just because Jayme didn't have a boyfriend doesn't mean she wasn't talking to boys and one thought she was his girlfriend. That could come in any age online. Another thing is if she had a new boyfriend and her parents disapproved (or Jayme thought they would) it might not have been known to others. Another thing...did Jayme have an ex-boyfriend?

So one side thinks maybe Jayme was targeted, and the other side really doesn’t?
