If the parents were killed instantly, as the sheriff has said, Jayme may have been the only person who could have made the call. Body temperature begins to drop right away so maybe they can tell that they were not likely to be alive when call came in.

But the sheriff has also said, many times, that there are no other clues on the call. I choose to believe him, as he could have said “no comment” as he has to many other questions.

Of course they would check out those girls thoroughly. The FBI was involved very early. They won’t just take their word for it. They would check where they had been, etc...jmo

for me the simplest way to explain no evidence there is any dna or finger prints that is there was expected to have been there and ruled out.

if you don't like the log sideways here is another link that has a large part of the log at the bottom of the page and it isn't sideways.
The Closs Mystery

Most PDF readers let you rotate the view. I've used that feature on this log for sure.

I couldn't rotate it so I just turned computer on its end to read it until I seen the one that wasn't sideways. lol.

My wife just went down the hall , saw me with my head tilted way to the side, and is still laughing at me........ She just does not understand serious sleuthing.

family wasn't notified for greater than 2 hours after girls were told to leave.

But if you turn your head sideways, it give you that perplexed dog look. Get with the program or no Snausage for you!

do we know why or what or who is at the 504 24 1/2 street that the log shows LE was in route to?

<modsnip: sleuthing non-POI/suspect>

link to the log. everything we know as fact is in it. includeing who notified and when.
Thanks for that link. That call log just gives me a headache. I know I must not be reading it correctly because I think I can see discrepancies. Entries that bring up more questions for me. What are all those entries that say ''homicide redispatched'? Sorry, just can't cipher it.:eek:

I don't understand all of it. maybe a bad choice but i ignore what I don't understand in it.

I meant a billboard like near the bathroom in a gas station with regard to posters. I can say in MN bathre

My general billboard remark was the small ones in gas stations that are generally by the bathrooms as you wait in line. As for one on maybe Highway 8 outside, a big one, well many have offered on other sites to contribute to a larger reward. I just thought the same could be done for a highway billboard. With the Wetterling case, it has been compared and yet there are no similarities except as to how it was handled that I have read. The parents were not killed, the guilty one was let go early on and ended up decades (?) later being the guilty one and they have hindsight in how they handled it and how they wish they had. Worth listening to I would think. Two other boys were witnesses, etc. It did not occur in the home. No other similarities.

I think you mean bulletin board. Billboards are the huge signs on highways that are used for advertising

Oh no, this is much better than the one I had..it only had four pages. It's not the log, it's me. It would be easier to read if there was only one or two officers reporting and not multiple at the same times. But at least we have this, in a situation where not much is available.

And that could be anyone. Family, friends, work, church, kids...

<modsnip: quoted post was removed>

It's amazing to me that double homicide and an abduction could happen in a town of less than 3,500 people and still be unsolved. Or at least some active information.

The family is doing a LOT. Several posts and pictures every day from what I see that people share, however I am unsure with social platforms how far they carry. I have read that MN and WI are covered well, I am just saying that if you are not looking for it, you may not even see it. I sure didn't and I tried to look at it as if I did not hear about this case. Nothing like "grabbed" my attention. Nothing. And at the very least, one would think there would be a billboard or two or a picture or BIG poster along the main drag. My hope is it is because the who is known but the where she is maybe is not. And again, this is just what I noticed. What does it cost for a standard billboard? I would gladly contribute. Just venting. I am sure the experts know far more.
I thought someone on here said there were billboards of Jayme's face on North Carolina and some other state! I have been to places where they have an 8x10 photo in convenience stores and gas stations of young people who are missing. I'm surprised they don't have that in her hometown!

I’ve been checking in periodically but I didn’t see this posted in the Media thread so I’ve posted it there.

Police canines in Wisconsin hunting down child predators

Nothing gets by the people in this forum but I did a couple of searches and didn’t see anything about this (no I did not read all the threads I missed).

The text of the article is cut off right when it starts to talk about Jayme (at least for me) so you’ll have to watch the video. Around the 2 minute mark.

Did we know this? I didn’t. Could have just missed it.

Does anyone have any way of discovering what the average response time is for LE responding to 911 calls in this area?

I live in the country, in a small town, and I would NOT be surprised if 1 or even 2 officers turned up quickly in an emergency. I would be a little bit more surprised if 4 officers were even on duty, let alone able to get to the scene within 4 minutes?

Seems like the background noise on that call must have been really convincing.
