I thought it might help to mention that the house in Amery is also a family owned business. I would think that anyone looking for the people living there would know that it's on the same land as a business (home construction). I don't think they were the intended targets, unless the murderer (or someone hiring one) was pretty unobservant. MOO

You would need to go back and then read the posts going forward. Personally I wouldn't bother due it being unconfirmed either way reference the black vehicle.

Since we have nothing new, I have looked back at a few things. I had thought this before and not that it helps with one single thing but in the Daily Mail Article there is the one picture that I thought may be an inside photo of the home. For some reason, I just tend to believe it is their home although I certainly could be wrong. It appears to be part of the kitchen area and there is a door in it that I am going to guess likely goes to the basement and/or garage. Maybe this has been discussed before but if so, I never saw it. Jayme and her dad are in it with her in a white dress and veil. I am not Catholic--would this be First Communion or something? It may also change my opinion some of the layout of the home. Any thoughts of whether this is their home...?

I’m not sure if I read it in a news article or on here now, but I seem to remember that the vehicles of interest came from the camera footage from the gas station in town a few minutes before the 911 call and the casino cameras a few minutes after the call. I took it as those vehicles would have been driving by the Closs house at the right time and that’s why LE wants to talk to them. Not necessarily because they thought those were the people that did it. But like I said, not sure where I read that now.

I have also been wracking my brain about how to come up with a new lead. I’ve been wondering if the casino has the players club cards like the one down the road from me does. I was thinking that the casino would know the last time a person swiped their card in a slot machine (let’s say 12:30), they would also have a home address for them (let’s say in Barron), they may have also driven by at the right time and seen something... I realize the legalities and the sharing customers info of this plan are an issue, but maybe if it came as an email from the casino (not LE) to think back if you saw something sketchy and call the tip line...might be better recieved. Someone had to see something, they just don’t know it.

She was taken somewhere, and I don’t think it was to Miami. In trying to understand the means, motive, and opportunity, after a couple of months, I am not sure there is a firm handle on any of these.

For example, I thought the means were fairly apparent... her parents were shot, and she was abducted. Now I wonder about a second person and the screen door on the deck as another access point. There are other means I could never dream and until we know for sure, we don’t know anything.

I thought the opportunity was readily understood. The house and those in it were ready targets for the assailant(s). Since no one can confirm anyone in the family’s timeline, who knows how the opportunity unfolded?

Motive I have never understood. Hope 2019 is a better year for Jayme and her loved ones. Thanks to all who care and keep this story going.

That was probably a post of mine. The exact locations of the cams identifying the cars was purely speculation/hypothesis. We don’t where they came from. In fact, we don’t even know if those vehicles are of interest or not anymore.

I think the plant is as likely of a connection as anything. Both parents spent a lot of their week there, many hours a week. Big employer, tons of people. I am not so sure he came from work, do you know that for a fact?

I just feel it is their house, not sure why. Maybe because the church (if it was that one ) is in Cameron and Jim is there.

As for his garb, I thought the same. Thinking the minute he got home maybe he changed or there is the possibility he did not go but waited at home and was there for the "party" it looks like they are about to have.

I thought the reason Jim did not go with Denise and Jayme to that birthday party that night was because he was working! Has ANY info been released on this?
