Yes! The Sheriff saying he was confident that she is still alive .... definitely they know something they can’t share.

The FBI said the same word for word in Mollies case and she was killed almost immediately. I hope she's alive but I think it's just something they have to say until they know for sure.

Is there a fence between private property and the railroad tracks?

  • #603
Does anyone know how many deputies patrol at night in those areas of this town?

Is it possible that most of the deputies are too comfortable and rarely patrol these rural properties like they should?

  • #604
If they went down railroad tracks, I wonder how many people have backyard trail cams?

In case you were wondering about the circles: Red is the residence, Green is JC's School and Blue is the Jail/Sheriff's Office

The woman (specialist) speaking now says those may be blood spatter or possibly bullet holes in the glass door.
I thought we all were in agreement that those were seasonal clingies.
I pray that isn't partially blowback. :(
Chi

Obviously pumpkins. At least the big one is.

Search for missing Barron, Wis. teen whose parents were killed enters 3rd day
Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says James and Denise Closs both died of gunshot wounds and their deaths have both been ruled homicides. No gun was found at the scene. He says after looking at evidence found in the home and listening to the 911 call, investigators believe Jayme was home at the time of the shooting. They say they believe she remains in danger.
Finger/footprints in the home?
Footprints more likely of she was in bed.

A car could actually ride the rails at good speed, and smoothly. Disadvantage: might get hit by train. Did it a number of times when young. Good getaway, if successful.

Does anyone know if these tracks have an alert system which alerts if something or someone is on the tracks?

Is it possible that most of the deputies are too comfortable and rarely patrol these rural properties like they should?

How large of an area do they patrol and how many do they have patrolling?

It seems with the crime statistics I posted, Barron has little crime and Rice Lake quite a bit

Clutching at straws here Re the shots heard at 1231hrs but 911 call at 0100hrs and the questions around the discrepancy?

So - what it the shots were heard and timed correctly as 1231 and the offender (s) was/were inside committing whatever atrocity took place AND whilst this was ongoing, Jayme was hiding, they subsequently found her and dragged her out at gunpoint, during which time she was then able to access a mobile phone as she moved through a different room of the house ?
I take my children’s mobile phones away from them at bedtime and put them on charge in the dining kitchen area . It could be that Jayme initially didn’t have access to her mobile phone until she was forced to walk through the house from her bedroom where she was sleeping, toward the front door ?
And she could have voice activated the phone or she could have grabbed it surreptitiously, initially unseen , and pressed the emergency button to alert LE , but didn’t want to speak so that the offender (s) didn’t realise what she was doing??? And unfortunately, they did realise after a few seconds and cut the phone off OR the phone was in her pocket/ held down by her side ( a bit like the Delphi girls maybe) , and the signal was lost / hence muffled sounds and not being able to clearly hear as a LE operator, what was being said or taking place ?

Just my thoughts and MOO

Dogs were used to search the entire scene.
If JC was in the woods she would have been found by now. I don't want to say this, but if she wasn't alive, the dogs would have probably hit on that scent.
If she was hiding in there, she would have heard the activity of the officers by yesterday, if not earlier.
Someone's car has to be missing, for if she walked away, the dogs would most likely have picked up that scent. (or if the scenario is deadly, the car has been going thru a thorough cleaning by now)
Jayme are you injured? Or are you on the run?
Or both?
If you know where Jayme is, let someone know. 911 or 715-537-3106
This is accelerating way too fast.
Hoping and praying,
Chi

What about tire tracks?

Sheriff on HLN interview. The have the cell phone; it was found in the house.
Guess I didn't get too far out on a limb after all.

The time between the gunshots and when the sheriff's deputy arrived was 26 minutes. This is a lot of time for the killer to drive off with Jayme.

The neighbor lady who heard the shots says they weren't out in the yard much, and she didn't see friends coming and going from the house. She didn't even know they had any children, except for seeing Jayme getting off the school bus.
Dang,
Chi
That’s so odd. I wonder if their outside activities, if there were any, were on the side opposite the neighbor’s home.

Does someone have the address? I cannot find. Tia.

I'm trying to recap what I've heard, but I'm fuzzy, so I'm hoping those in the know can help clarify. 1) There were two shots heard by neighbors? 2) Shots heard at appx 12:30am? 3) One shot heard louder that the other, 1st or 2nd shot? 4) 911 call was at appx 1:00am? Thanks!

Obviously pumpkins. At least the big one is.
I agree about the big one.
But the others, not so sure after repeatedly blowing that image up on a huge screen.
If the father was shot at the front door, it could be blood spatter.
I'm no expert, so I don't know.

I read and I learned that ATVs have an average speed of 30mph. Math would show that she could have been an average of 13 miles away at that point. They wouldn't have searched that far enough!

The terrifying question is why an average family of apparently no means in the middle of nowhere was targeted for death.

That has to be terrifying for everyone in the area.

I imagine at the town hall people are going to express their terror . They will not be in the spotlight of media.

I cannot and do not want to imagine what perfectly average people are thinking.
