I believe they said at the time of the murder. Can someone clarify if they said they know Jayme was in the house at the time of the 911 call or at the time of the shooting?

Ahhh, pumpkin stickers.. Now I see themThere are clearly pumpkins on the glass.
They have enhanced 911 service in Barron.New GPS smartphones do show location within a few meters. That’s from a dispatcher in MD. I don’t know if that county has enhanced systems.
I think there were pumpkin decals on the door but likely blood spatter as well. There is something important there or they wouldn't have carried it off. Right? The woman (specialist) speaking now says those may be blood spatter or possibly bullet holes in the glass door.
I thought we all were in agreement that those were seasonal clingies.
I pray that isn't partially blowback.

The Sheriff has commented publically that he wants the public and media to leave the Barron School District alone, just as an FYI. I will see if I can find a link.
You can link to the page and discuss what is officially posted by the Sheriff's department but not any comments in the posts. In some cases we're allowed to say "look at the comments under such and such post" or "look at a comment by (initials)" but seriously, 99.99% of comments from FB users are false anyway. IMO there are no FB "insiders" that have information that even LE doesn't have. Are we allowed to site information from Barron County SD FB page?
If you mean the Sheriff's Department then link away to their post - not to any comments on their posts. Are we allowed to site information from Barron County SD FB page?
On the way to the house you would think the police would be looking at any cars on the road, not specifically looking for the perp but in such a small town how many people are out that late? I live in a rural area and it takes the sheriff 15 min and our population is 800 people.Wow, that's not a lot of time to get away, considering that the call came from inside the house, I would presume? 4 minutes........
He said they believe she was in the house at the time of the shooting based on evidence they obtained, some of which came from the 911 call. So technically, she could have been out of the house when the call was made.
Possibility the intruder/perp was injured in some way and left DNA (blood) on the handle going out the door?I agree about the big one.
But the others, not so sure after repeatedly blowing that image up on a huge screen.
If the father was shot at the front door, it could be blood spatter.
I'm no expert, so I don't know.

The search for Jayme Closs has continued to intensify and serious unrelated criminal activity was uncovered in the Barron area and law enforcement action was deemed necessary

DNA can come back in a matter of hours - it just depends on what you are submitting and the cost of it .i dont think dna can come back that quick !
I'm not sure just my opinion they are mentioning this only for the fact people are going to see extra police presence somewhere and they want to put the rumor squad to rest before it takes off.they find someones Methlab?
I have no idea. Probably not related to Jayme in any way IMO.they find someones Methlab?
But remember that LE didn’t know there had been a shooting. They didn’t have any info other than someone called, didn’t speak and yelling was heard in the background. So they wouldn’t have been “on the lookout for a murderer.”On the way to the house you would think the police would be looking at any cars on the road, not specifically looking for the perp but in such a small town how many people are out that late? I feel physically sick since this all started and especially as she is not found yet.
And for all of you saying this case is too much for such a small police force, the FBI have been involved and they still have nothing.
Maybe they should search inside nearby homes.
I remember a case of a little girl missing and the police went door to door and most people allowed them in except for 2 sex offenders. They got a search warrant and sure enough that little girls body was found under a mattress in master bedroom. The police acted so fast he didn't have the time or opportunity to get rid of her body.
It's probably too late for this case but it's the only way I can see them vanishing into thin air.
That is what I mean about my theory that the person(s) who took Jayme possibly rode a four-wheeler and arrived and left from behind the house. They would maybe not have taken Hwy 8 at all.
Very interesting... what do you guys make of it?Barron County Sheriff's Department
