This was my initial gut feeling. It may not even be romantic. Maybe she met a friend online. Especially at that age, you can feel very lonely. I know I made friends online in game chat rooms and such... thinking back about it now, it makes you realize how vulnerable these kids are with the technology thats out today. Maybe she met someone while playing an online game? If so, would it be harder for the police to track down?

BBM
Depends on what info they shared (if it happens to be this scenario).

I think Jayne might not have been the I intended target. And yes even cold blooded killers can have a conscious when it comes to kids. Might think it's ok to kill an adult but draws the line at kids. What a possible affair scenario? Has that been discussed. You know jilted lovers have been known to do a lot of damage. Crime of passion.

WOAH!!! Excellent sleuthing, @Wrenny!
Again, this log shows at 1:05/1:06 that man down was man that answered door to officers and at 1:19 both men down were unresponsive. So father could have also made the 911 call. Am I reading the log right?

The story is on Live PD right now.

We don't know what age she changed schools due to the "family caretaker" --no year was given by the sheriff. Plus, she just turned 13 in July.
It's her aunt people. Her parents work shifts.

Where is the information coming from that the mom was barricaded in the bathroom?

Is there a credible source for that or is it just speculation that is being considered as a possibility?

If it's a social media rumor, we will need to remove it and end discussion before it turns into a "fact" in this case.
Right now the only source for it Radar Online. The Daily Mail also picked it up - but from Radar Online. So I don't know that there is a credible source out there for that.

I have been wondering this from the beginning and have neve seen it addressed. When LE came to the house, responding to the 911 call, how would they know if anyone was missing at all? Are you saying it took 3 hours before they knew there was a 13 year old daughter missing? Honestly that makes sense to me, given the very early morning hour and no one to immediately ask/interview...no family members or close neighbors... not until later on that morning.

I’m guessing that they needed to verify and contact family to make sure she wasn’t with them before sounding the alarm. I’m guessing that’s one of the ways they got the amber alert. To be able to factually state that they had no knowledge of where she was and they left no stone unturned.

The male name , under the two female names....right above the names of the two victims.......How did this LE document get out into the public ?
So who is he? Her possible boyfriend?

Newbie here...sorry if this has already been covered...was wondering about the 2 other addresses that the police were dispatched to (listed on the 911 Dispatch, one at 3:27 another at 4:19). I don't remember reading anything about it on any of the other threads (though so much info is tough to keep straight at this point!). Anyone know who or why?

The entire dispatch log.
By the way, up at the top right, there's a little circle in an arrow icon. If you click that you can rotate it until it winds up right side up. That makes it a lot easier to read!

And maybe drew the line at killing the dog too?

But if this the case, drawing the line at killing a kid, where is Jayme?

i'm still extremely confused why the call was initially booked as possible suicidal person. if all that could be heard was indistinct yelling, wouldn't you think more likely a possible domestic issue/disturbance? if all that can be made out is a commotion and 'help' how in the world does that go to suicide? i could see possible murder/suicide but how just suicide on its own? maybe i'm just not familiar with 911 calls and suicides but that just does not make any sense to me at all.

Oh my goodness.... Is that a homicide report with three suspects names on it ?...The male name is very victim familiar.

The thing that strikes me most from the .pdf transcript is that LE states they don't know enough about the suspect to issue an Amber Alert, yet hours later they issue an Amber Alert. Wouldn't this mean that at a minimum they got a better description?

JMO.

Seriously people.. Dad was found first (Jim) then mom five minutes later (Denise) there are no other victims outside of Jim Closs and Denise Closs. I am so confused by dialogue. <Modsnip Snarky Comment>
