If Dad was a 'line supervisor' then he wouldn't be the person who did the actual firing of there employee. However, his word would go a long way to account for someone being reported, thus being fired, imo.

If Jennie-O operated the way our company did, yes, James would have had a say in hiring, firing and laying employees off. Human Relations was involved with this as well in our company, as well as another manager familiar with the employees.

I think there was an altercation with the Dad— he didn’t like whoever showed up at the house and either refused to open the door, kicked him out of the house, or shut the door on him. The guy (I definitely think this is a male criminal), either had a gun or grabbed one from his vehicle and busted the door in and shot James.

The 9-11 call — how are those traced? How did LE arrive to that exact house 4 minutes later? Just because of the phone owner or was the ping that precise?

This is an insane crime— IF it were planned ahead of time, it did not go as planned. The noise of kicking the door in and all the yelling on the 9-11 call and shots fired in a quiet night sound like pure chaos. This seems like a trigger-happy nutcase. And why he took Jayme, I have no clue.

Was this person severely intoxicated and manic? Super high on meth? Did he show up at the wrong house and get into an altercation? That’s extreme, but this is WI (I live here), and that’s not unheard of. Something is just SO off.

That is my thought- a recently terminated sick employee that felt they lost everything and now came to the Closs's house and took their lives and their daughter. I do not think that Jayme was the intended target here.

I'm thinking the perp was intoxicated, on drugs or manic.

Could this be a case of mistaken identity? Could the killers have gone to the wrong house?

I’m worried that as more time goes on, Jayme will be found deceased and there will be zero answers.

If it were mistaken identity, why take Jayme? Sadly, I think she would have been found deceased at the home too.

This is going to sound completely off the wall so please forgive me. However it is one aspect that hasn’t been looked at and I’m trying to cover all areas.
Hang with me very far fetched. Could it be possible since the family was kind of “reclusive” they may have been in some sort of witness protection type thing? And possibly located?
It seems we know very little about the dad and the mom and LE isn’t saying much so could that be the reason?
Again like I stated very far out there... but covering all options since none of this makes since.

They had extended family all around them. They don't relocate entire families. And they've been described by all but the neighbor as active in their communities.

It’s entirely possible that LE simply doesn’t have much to go on, and releasing details of the crime scene won’t move the needle much in their eyes.

Sometimes there aren’t easy answers right away, if ever.

I do think this case will be solved, it’s just a matter of when.

That’s what I’m thinking. They don’t have much and they’re trying to make people believe they have something. Excuse me if I’m repeating what others have said, I’ve been going through this thread and don’t remember everything.

I do wonder if they looked under that porch of theirs. I saw a hole in it and I’m wondering if someone could’ve hidden in there. And how did whoever do this flee? Is that front road the only one that they could’ve driven on w/o leaving tracks?

They took her because, as ridiculous as this sounds, they didn’t want to kill her. But now they’ve got her and they’re up creek and don’t know what to do with her.

I don't think this has anything to do with the parents at all.I think they were in the way of him getting Jayme and had to be killed.I think the man saw Jayme and fixated on her and had to have her.Likely a sexual predator.

If the front door not "kicked in" my the perp, I'm wondering if maybe the bathroom door was "kicked in" (i.e., to get to the Mum allegedly barricaded in the bath/bedroom). I do not believe LE "kicked" anything.... .MOO

Think about this for a second. They didn’t even have to get all the way to the front door to see it was open. They could see it was open as they approached and could also see a deceased man in that doorway. How did they see this (was there a light on over the porch? Lights from their vehicles? Flashlights?). At what distance could they see and be sure the door was open? If they parked in the driveway is it paved or gravel? Could any tracks have been left behind indicating the direction of the casino was the route travelled?

And it’s only gotten like, 2 minute blurbs on the news here, and that’s after the political stories, local stories, and Brewer status. The fact that it’s not at the top of the news is f’d up to me, and that the Brewers are taking precedence over this missing girl.

No, because they lived in the same hometown as their extended family , and worked for the same company for over 20 years.
