I took a 3 day break. Reread the report and not sure how I missed it the first time but there it was!

I am really losing sleep over this case. It’s in my head because I really feel terrible for the family and I soooo wish for a resolution that brings Jayme back alive. I am off work tomorrow and think I may head to the search early in the am. I’m only 45 min away. Is anyone else here with previous LE, military, or search party experience planning on attending?

They're asking for 2k, volunteer-wise? That number - what must they be hoping to find? (Besides remains.)

Cell phone(s), the murder weapon(s), gloves, clothes, some item that belonged to one of the Closs family, etc.

True, but the only 24 1/2 Ave nearby is in Cumberland, which could also be listed as HWY H.

Where I grew up (rural central WI), there were a lot of these types of addresses that were not listed as the numbered streets but only as the HWY. People often didn't know their alternate address unless there was some specific reason to. I think this could be on the outskirts of Barron on the way to the casino.

For Jayme’s phone? They have the mom’s phone, which was used to call 911.

On second look, I'm not so sure it's a small window in the upper part of the wooden door but that is what I thought when I saw it (Photo is from 2016):

Someone is in jail on an info warrant, and there are a few others that have no detailed warrant. People seem to think it's one of 3 or 4 people that are currently booked that might have info.

Random thoughts (just catching up)
The door-is it possible that the door was kicked open by the perps and then ultimately removed by LE for a complete forensic analysis?
Could Jayme have escaped on foot from the home and then chased and ultimately found and killed?
Does anyone know the whearabouts of Jayme's cell phone (or if she had one.) If she left her cell phone it might be more indicative of her being kidnapped or fled on foot.

Yes. The door may have been taken for forensic analysis.

We don’t know anything about her phone, and if they have it or not.

I think it’s unlikely she escaped, even for a short period of time. This perpetrator was armed, and could likely easily outrun a 13 year old girl. She may have simply frozen in terror, or have been grabbed while hiding.

I would think that it would be someone from today or yesterday. Not the individuals who were booked 4+ days ago. They would have announced something before then if that was the case.

Perhaps they have had the person responsible in custody since 10/17 and he finally provided some info which is why they are doing the massive search tomorrow?

If that were the case, I’d expect a more concentrated effort utilizing both the suspect, and law enforcement.

I posted this screenshot in an earlier thread. It shows crime scene tape wrapped around a tree or post. What you see is barbed wire wrapped around the tree/post and you can make out a single strand of barbed wire at the bottom that heads of to the left of the post/tree. I don't know where that post//tree is located and I have wondered if part or most of the property has barbed wire run along it. If there is more of the property with barbed wire someone would have to know where is was (or wasn't) or they would trip over it or injure themselves on it.

Not necessarily. If there is a light on outside, you could see the barb wire. Or if they had flashlights. The main problem would be if they had to run back through the forest. If you don't know where the barbed wire is at, you can hit it at full speed and take it from me, that hurts.

Ah, good find. Makes sense there would be some kind of barrier there, even if its easy to go around/under/avoid. Thanks for sharing this. Really makes me think this is somebody in the area or at least somebody who has been planning this for a minute.
