A small group of people on Friday were standing outside the Public Safety Building in Milwaukee, where Maxwell Anderson is standing trial.

Court will resume Monday at 8:45 a.m.

This judge is no nonsense but sympathetic and kind. I absolutely love her. I really dislike who this attorney has defended especially in the past (Kyle Rittenhouse) but he isn't condescending / downright rude as we've seen in other high priced defense attorneys (I'm thinking of Galucci/ Christopher Gregor case).

Everyone seems so organized and things are moving so quickly with testimony.

I do dislike that they got into the cannabis & "methamphetamine" that they found in a safe in the victim's flat. It could have just been a bottle of Adderall, no? In any case I hope the jury realises this was not related AT ALL.

Everyone not LE who testified seem so traumatized. I hope they can get the support they deserve. Heart aches for her family and loved ones.

Is the defense attorney really cross examining from his seat at the table?
It also appears that there is a glass/partition between the gallery and the court proceedings? Is there a door between the 2? I don't think I've seen such a partition in any other court. Sometimes when the camera pans to the attorneys you can see the family of Sade but they're behind glass?

Extra level of security perhaps? Given the charges.

IIRC, the glass panels go back to the trial of Jeffrey Dahmer, during which a family member of one of the victims lost control and lunged at him. That and several incidents of threatened violence during other trials resulted in this security measure, but for the criminal courtrooms only.

There is a doorway, yes, but the gallery is behind the glass partition.

The Safety Building, as it is known, is expected to be completely rebuilt in the next decade, to the tune of some $500 million.

@Muddy K aha thank you that explains a lot. I was googling "Milwaukee Courthouse Glass Panels" and I saw this. It makes sense but I don't think we've ever seen such a courtroom setup recently.

They've shown on video how her Honda is traveling through parts of town with a broken passenger mirror... around and around and finally parks at the location where it was set on fire. They have him on video walking away from the arson and a few blocks later he is on video boarding a bus. I mean COME ON.. he is littteraly on video in areas with her car & where her cellphone pinged!

These Detectives didn't miss a beat. They pursued practically everything they could find. This seems so watertight. Fingers crossed.

And there is so much more to come, including the photos of Sade on his phone, the results of the examination of his house and his social media, the blood found in his own vehicle on the day he was arrested, plus -  plus - the confidential informant the LE has previously claimed Anderson spoke of plans to kill Sade a month before it actually happened.

If the defense plans to argue that someone else did it, I honestly don't see how they have a prayer of convincing anybody. JMO.

I was relieved to hear Prosecutor Vance-Curzon refer to Anderson's "massive" backpack yesterday. Warning in advance for my graphic comment, but I have felt since the day, more than a year ago now, that I first saw an image of him wearing that heavy, drooping backpack that Sade's head was inside it. It's an appalling thing to even write, but if he kept a "trophy," and given the fact that this is the one part of her body yet to be found, well... just a feeling, hope I'm utterly wrong.

Her right breast is also missing. But yeah seeing the big backpack i had the same thoughts.

This case is really next level. I can't bear to think what the family must be feeling.
Poor Sade. What a brutal senseless murder. My thoughts are with her family.

I too thought the same about the "heavy drooping backpack." I wonder was the backpack ever recovered from his home ?

I think the state are piecing together a solid timeline of events. They are carefully joining the dots. After watching the "brief testimony from the still-visibly-traumatized woman who, on April 18th, 2024, discovered Sade's torso..." it really hit home just how heinous this crime was. I can't even imagine the trauma this Woman experienced.

Praying for Sade's Mom, Dad, Sister, family & friends. #JusticeforSadeRobinson 🙏🏻💕

I keep trying to figure out why in the world he would cut off one of her breasts. Appendages I get. Even the head. But a breast?

Did he go all Jeffrey Dahmer on it?

Because for the life of me I can't understand why her breast.

Identifying features? Tattoos?

Or a sexual sadist.

He's probably got his own page in the sexual deviance diagnostic manual.

Poor Sade then. Poor her-family now.

It's terrifying that people like this exist.

A more likely scenario than mine. A lot of people have tatts on their breasts.

And she has at least one on her upper breast.

And here's another pic lower down more on her breast than her chest like the image above.

Snipped by me.

During opening statements, the prosecutor revealed that there were some photos of Sade recovered from Anderson's phone. Vance-Curzon said that one photo showed Sade laying face down on a couch and another photo showed Anderson holding her  right breast. He did not say whether the breast was still attached to her body.

During Friday's testimony about the harrowing discovery of Sade's torso and left arm, we learned that the tattoo across her upper chest - Sometimes you have to fall before you can fly - was instrumental in enabling the responding LE to quickly identify the remains as belonging to Sade.

Sade's right arm was eventually found on shoreline in Waukegan, Illinois. What we don't yet know is whether the right breast was still attached to that arm (if he removed the entire shoulder, for example.) We only know it was not part of the torso.

IMO, we will soon learn whether Sade's right breast was separated or not. I think we'll also hear some implications about her head. I believe the State has to address that to make clear what evidence the jury has to work with and what may forever, unfortunately, remain unknown.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has wondered about that backpack. It's large, heavy, and whatever was inside it, Anderson had it with him all night. Since my belief is that he dismembered Sade in her car and near her car, I can believe there were some tools in the backpack, but I can't shake the feeling that her head was in there too.

One thing I  am certain of: Maxwell Anderson knows exactly what he did with Sade's head. He's still getting off on that knowledge, too. JMO.
