Not to mention, that at the time, everyone in the world who had been following the case knew exactly where the family home on Sheltered Nook Road was/is - and knew that TH was residing there.

IMO, if death threats against one spouse in this case are going to be investigated by LE, then death threats against the other spouse need to be investigated, as well - unless LE is endorsing vigilante justice, which I don't believe they are.

I don't care if the threats are coming from anonymous posters on the internet or not - if threats have been made, they need to be investigated, and the source of the threats needs to be determined.

When it was initially released, it was quickly taken back down because the media had forgotten to blur out personal details. Numbers, addresses, SSN's were all visible. It was removed in 10-15 minutes (seemed very fast, so I'll go with that) and a revised version was put up.

Mr. Houze stated that his client TH had received death threats, which he also stated that he took seriously.

I have no idea if these threats were made by anonymous posters on the internet, or if they were made via phone or other type of direct contact to TH - all I know is that it was reported via the MSM.

Since I respect Mr. Houze, and have no reason to doubt what he says (he is a highly esteemed defense attorney) and since his statement was quoted in the MSM, I choose to believe him.

If I come across any comments on news sites that I perceive as death threats against TH, I will forward that info to LE. I may even post a link here, although I don't think we're allowed to copy/paste news site comments, per TOS, as far as I'm aware (unless I'm misinformed).

The point is that it has been reported that TH has received death threats. Based on the circumstances of the case, I don't find that hard to believe at all.

I only hope that LE is investigating the source of these alleged threats - however or wherever they were made.

Where I live, it's a crime called, "making terroristic threats". I am sure the attorney would want those threats investigated and taken care of.

I think I missed a press conference where Kaine said that Terri drank herself to sleep at night. I'm wondering how long that had been going on and how a hangover affected her the next morning. Also, I'm not a Terri supporter, but MC taking a pic of Kaine's address on the RO with his cell phone does seem like a preplanned setup. Terri may have a lot of info to come in the future through her attorneys. I don't believe there's any way she's going to just give up her child.

I believe he said she told him that after her DUI arrest back in 2005.

Right but sometime it is hard to rundown who the person is making the threats.

May use a throwaway phone if they call her parents home and threatens her.

If she wasnt receiving death threats I am sure her lawyer wouldn't have said she was and I am sure he has already told LE and the Judge about the threats.

IIRC, it was in the audio interview with the Oregonian. Kaine has also stated that they'd moved past that, that Terri hasn't had any issues since then.

IMO even if she's had death threats it doesn't have to prevent supervised visitation with her child. It could be arranged in a safe setting.

Was Terri really getting death threats and has this been verified?

I've seen death threats on the internet that were direct and disturbingly explicit. So much so that I reported them to the site owners for the first time in over 16 years on the internet. I'm generally a "to each their own" sort of person but these threats were so graphic and included information about how to locate TMH, etc, that I honestly feel the people who made them need to be assessed by some sort of professional. I can't force them to a mental health assessment, all I can do is try to trigger a process that may eventually lead to one.

Then I wished I had a reel of mental floss so I could get them out of my mind.

I cannot believe that TMH would be subject to such threats only online; I think it highly likely that she is also receiving them by mail, in part because of the perceived greater anonymity of mailed messages versus communications via the internet (doesn't almost everyone these days know about IP addresses, etc?).

I ran across a site owner whose reply to me seemed to imply that TMH "deserves" such threats and a definite refusal to remove the threat.

With the help of a couple friends, my next step was to go to that site owner's upstream provider and point out the violation of that provider's TOS.

The threat was taken down within six hours.

LE may or may not take such things seriously but there are other possible responses.

Thank you. I believe it is totally inappropriate for the baby to be celebrating her birthday in Kyron's class. It only points once again to Terri's narcissism. "What? Doesn't EVERYONE want to celebrate baby K's birthday?"

With the standards teacher have these days with No Child Left Behind, they barely have time to note birthdays for the children in their own classroom, much less their siblings as well. Many schools have cut way back on PE, recess, lunch times, etc. in order to fit in the amount of time required in each subject in order to comply with state and federal guidelines. There is little time to put aside for babies and their birthdays. Baby K will be in school soon enough and she can celebrate her birthdays then. It's not like she would even remember her first birthday anyway.

I am guessing the teacher was intimidated into complying with TH in order to keep the peace. It was absolutely ridiculous and presumptuous for TH to even suggest such a thing. I believe it only points once again to TH gets what TH wants, no matter who she has to step on to get it.

Where does the information come from that a full-fledged first birthday party was 'thrown' in Kyron's classroom? Or was there just a mention that Terri was doing volunteer work in the classroom on a day that also happened to be baby's birthday? I'd be happy to know where this information came from.
Has the teacher mentioned that she was intimidated into allowing a party to be allowed? Thank you if you can steer me toward this information.

Oh my that site owner had to be clueless about liability issues. If something happened she would be a part of inciting harm to come to TH by leaving such threats up.

Oh, I thought he was saying they had stopped now.

And I knew he hadn't been in the home with TH since the last of June so he would have no knowledge what has happened to her after then.
