if it's anything like true crime, cps could be watching and playing their cards quietly, waiting to pounce, when the 1st one is up for release from the hospital.
seems to me some legal things could come into play, besides her sanity and enough space and help for the babies..things like falsifying birth certificates, using student loans for things other than school, and faking a bad back and claiming disability for it.obviously someone w a bad back could not withstand an octuplet pregnancy, and she does not appear to be writhing in pain in the pregnancy photos.
For one,I would really like to see her pressed legally for the real bio dad's name.

if this were a MAN pulling any of this crap, would it be tolerated??? (aside from the fact men can't get pregnant),BUT,it appears she garners at least *some sympathy because she is female and a mother(???????)

Nadya's father questions his own daughters mental health on Oprah.

In response to a question about whether he thinks his daughter is mentally stable, Doud said, "Now I'm no psychiatrist, but I question her mental situation."

Gee, "things that make you go hmmmmmmmm".

wow, sounds like he doesn't think she should have them, either.

I think this whole family is involved in scamming the system and are all looking for a free handout. The saddest thing is there are 14 kids involved and no one knows what to do about that. One has to wonder if this type of behavior is rewarded, how many other people are going to think that if this girl
can wreak all kind of benfits for having an abundance of children so can't they. This person apparently gave false information on birth certificates and apparently is going to get away with it. Obviously filed false information to get public assistance and student loans ,utilized that money for IVF and cosemetic surgery. Need I mention in a time when the economy is at an all time low.
Neither the Octomom, octogramp,Octogramma seem to have jobs. I still am curious about the Alias names..:waitasec::waitasec:
Something is definitedly wrong with this whole situation.

I assume Nadya would know if the kids were in the process of being removed from her care, no? Or does the CPS do everything quietly and then go take custody? I'm not sure how things work in the USA.

In the hospital, before they are released, the hospital can "order" a "well check" type of service. In my circumstance (with my son's skin) a visiting nurse visited the home 3 times before he came home from NICU. My insurance paid for it and the county ordered it (because of his ailment, not because we were just skanks off the street). After he came home, there were more visits on the tab of the insurance company by the same group of visiting nurses. They took his vitals and assesed that the home was clean and we had the proper resources to take care of him.

If there were already action to take the octuplets from Nadya, I would think she would know. From experience only, I would think they (CPS) would have visited the home already and told her the guidelines of her being allowed to bring the babies home. I am not sure how CA CPS operates, so this is only my opinion.

There ya go! I believe that the whole dang clan was in "cahoots" with this situation. Each grandparent (since they're divorced?) can give their stories, Nadya can give her story and the stories that fetch more moolah are the one's they'll stick with. JMHO! :blowkiss:

Yep, you beat me to it. Here, they open a file and do an investigation, make a case plan and try hard not to take the kids. (unless they are called out by the police in some kind of emergency) They are all about "family reunification" which is a noble endeavor, but children have died due to the foot dragging of CPS. Of course, the have died in foster care, too. Children are just so vulnerable.

since she was buying a vacuum cleaner,it sounds like perhaps they told her to CLEAN UP the house.

No, she's trying to negotiate the 'deal' between the Angels in Waiting and the mom. But Nadya is not answering to her offer. A nurse started & runs the nonprofit group.

Personally if you take time to read the offer, it's a very very good offer. To pay for at least 6 months of medical & emotional help for ALL the children & the mom, to have nurses help her at 8 hour shift intervals, etc..

I think Allred might be the hero in the end for this. Really read what they're attempting to do. It's a very kind thing to help all of them. Isn't that what everyone wants? For this woman to get serious help in all aspects of her life? For me, if nurses were with her all the time helping for the next 6 months plus ++ , she's getting emotional & mental help, she's getting medical bills paid, etc I think she couldn't ask for a better offer ever. AND makes me happy because no $$$ is in her hands directly at the moment.

Thanks Patty - I couldn't have said it better. I, too, think this is a win/win situation.

While I agree this is a win/win situation in terms of taking care of the children's physical needs, having 12 outside people rotating through the home 24 hours a day--and not even the same 12 people--leaves these children still at great risk of attachment disorders. However, they have to be cared for and this is the ONLY plan that anyone has come up with that might work. So far, neither the mother or grandparents have outlined any kind of plan at all.

ALSO, why the 1.25 million dollar 4 bedroom house when beautiful 5+ bedroom homes are for sale in Whittier for 1/3 the cost ?

While some may not agree with this, this woman is a sick, vile, excuse for a human. I hope CPS finds a good home for her children. She will never have a life, not married, no man will ever want her,no job. Poor babies. I think she did it for fame and money but i dont believe it will work for her and i believe her mom was in on it the whole time. WTH would you spend 100,000$ on plastic surgery when you have 6 kids, she could have put it toward them or a house or something. She is a trainwreck!

Ok im done ranting now.

Yep, I agree!! I saw the latest footage of her on TMZ last night. The paparrazi were following her around and she kept saying "I'm not a celebrity! I'm not a celebrity" but was obviously enjoying it and giggling. She kept turning to the camera and smiling as they followed her around. They asked her about her about losing her house and she said "my mom's house". They said "but you live there, right?".

Well, the paparrazi (especially TMZ) are awful sometimes, but in this case they will be asking her the things we want to ask her.

$149 - saw it on an end cap yesterday!!

While I have possession of the soap box - gran could have paid her mortgage with the $40.000 she got from giving interviews. Grrrrr.

I'd rather the children have some issues about attachment than them being left to the care of the mother / grandmother without knowing anything behind closed doors. And I'm thinking the Angels with Wings would make sure they have the same few nurses on rotation more due to their high medical needs. I think the organization will make sure they have the same staff members for these babies due to the high needs. :blowkiss:

I don't think they want to pay it....they stopped making payments at the exact time Nadya became pregnant with the octos so I'm sure they assumed they would be given a new one or given enough money to buy one. The house they are in is obviously trashed....so they are better off to just let it go to repo than to pay it off and try to sell a broken down, filthy house.

I wonder about the attachment disorder. It seems she disconnects right after giving birth- she seemed to have no problem traipsing around town while her 6 kids were with Grandma, she had no problem going to school while the 6 kids were with Grandma or Nanny's (don't know if she really had a nanny)... Holding the octuplets for a few minutes each day doesn't totally cut it with me either. She could be doing more to prove her love to these children because all we see is her love for herself.
