I hope Leda is the helmet girl/dancer because that would mean she's alive.

Looking at SImone and that Alcala image with fresh eyes, and reading some new info/theory from a former LEO linked in Simone's thread today, I feel it is less likely Alcala was involved with Simone.

I also think Simone's nose is different. And not just the angle. Otherwise, yes a similar "natural beauty" in both young women.

I came across an appeal court document from 1984. It's kind of horrific as it describes the known attack and murder at that time but it also mentions two girls that encountered him and survived. One of them took photos with RA in the wilderness before he attacked her. Do you think this could be Monique H. Does she look like a well developed 15 year old? Or maybe the other girl in the woods?

According to defendant's taped confession, not challenged on this appeal, he picked up Monique H., who was hitchhiking in Riverside County on February 12, 1979. Monique was a well-developed 15-year-old. The two drove to defendant's residence and spent the night together, engaging in consensual sex. The next morning, they went to some mountains, where defendant took pictures of Monique in the nude, and of the two performing simulated sex acts together. At some point, Monique became frightened and began to scream and struggle. Defendant tied her up, stuffed a T-shirt in her mouth, beat her unconscious, and raped her vaginally and anally. He said he had not planned the violence, but was "incoherent" and frightened about a situation that had gotten out of hand. Ultimately, he drove Monique back to civilization, where she notified the police.

This was an old post but I saw a blurry picture of Monique and it's not the unknown girl.

This girl is no longer shown in my most updated list of "still missing". This doesn't hold much water because it only means that she has been discovered to be alive, or dead. And, we won't most likely know the results of this until possibly after Alcala dies.

What's her status now?

I stand corrected. Even this girl has things in her hair. And there's an other girl too that I had forgotten.

This is the original photo, so I have not altered it in any way.

This one is made in his Manhattan place, at least I've seen that carpet in another photo.

Now that I started looking I've found much more females with things in their hair, on their face etc. My conclusion for now it's that they were part of an assignment for what's now Tisch School of Art. I also wonder how many of these particular females were fellow students or hurt students in general.

Now does this mean that they all were safe? Probably yes but how knows.

Could the person in the foliage be also part of an assignment? If only we could know what his curriculum and products were during 1968 to 1971. He studied for three full years.

Because the photos were only released in 2010 many people who even saw them could have totally forgotten who studied with them etc.

Thanks for that site which contains all the images.

Imo it's not blood but an object or several behind the carpet. I also thinks she's actually standing up and not laying down.

Ugh lol. Anyway no she hasn't a extremely long nose. Second photo is original. It's a woman or maybe a blow-up doll but her nose bridge is flat. If it's an actual person I think it's that's curly brunette (who btw has also junk in her hair and on het body, check out that "growth" on her shoulder for instance) from the Five Bar.
