A significant amount of work has been done for this WDS thus far and the judge is still declining to dismiss the lawsuit. It's apparent there's a lot of information being revealed that calls into question SDSO's decision to label Rebecca's death a suicide.

If the judge thought the lawsuit frivolous or unsupported by evidence, she would have dismissed it by now. But she's continuing to push for depositions and further gathering of evidence. At this point it seems most likely the case will move forward. The case schedule certainly indicates the primary witnesses/defendants will be deposed. Those depositions should be coming up soon. It doesn't seem likely Dina can delay hers any longer.

The judge has not seen any evidence yet. If one or more of the Defendants files a summary judgment motion, that will be her first opportunity to determine whether there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.

How is it that you know the particulars of James DiMaggio's death well enough to decide the merits of a lawsuit his family has filed? Oh, that's right. You don't know, because you weren't there. You just imagine you know.

See how that works?

I not surprised that you (and the Zahau's lawyer) would be on the side of a man that tortured and killed Hannah Anderson's mother, killed her brother and dog, then kidnapped a 16-year old girl. But it is the FBI in the wrong for killing the creep?
You must think Casey Anthony was innocent, too?

BBM. Please kindly add your link for the Zahaus LOSING their first lawyers. Repeatedly stating something doesn't make it true and I've asked for a link before.

These lawyers may have interjected themselves in the case for publicity and then moved on. The former lawyers may have had singular/personal motives to get involved as well. It is truly unfair to attempt to make it appear that the Zahaus keep LOSING lawyers.

Please link and TUIA.

Sounds like you are admitting that Anne Bremner and Martin Rudoy, and the other lawyer (I forget his name at the moment), were only in it for publicity, and not "justice".

But don't forget money. THAT was their main motive. Once they realized they had no case - and therefore, no big payoff - they were out of there.

THAT only takes common sense to know - not a link.

Excuse me? I don't believe I stated my opinion about the lawsuit you brought into this discussion. See, I don't actually have an opinion about it, because I don't know anything about it. You, on the other hand, seem to have already decided the case; I simply asked how it is that you have the knowledge to do so.

I have no idea what you are talking about and don't care to delve into it as it is not germaine to my request.

Continually you state that the Zahaus lose their lawyers and please don't twist my request for you to provide a link to back up your contentions of that. Simple as that. Anything else is frankly trolling.

Again please link your knowledge that the Zahaus keep LOSING their lawyers. And, again, I ask kindly.

Thanks AZlawyer!

I see Dina still has not filed a Summary Judgment Motion yet...Seems to me she's afraid to file one for fear that if she does, the court and public will for certain see that there IS sufficient valid evidence against her as POI for Rebecca's murder. I would go so far as to say there is a preponderance of evidence to indicate that she had PREMEDITATED, ORGANIZED, and EXECUTED Rebecca's murder.

The truth is finally coming out regarding Rebecca's murder. And Dina can't escape her culpability any longer. <modsnip>

Thanks for that clarification.

Remembering the lovely woman this thread is about and hoping for justice for her. Sigh.

I'm not good at posting pictures- can someone please post a picture of Rebecca- other than the ONE mug shot photo please? I am about sick and tired of seeing that image in the feed, it is disrespectful at the least and down right vicious in its intentions to the victim of this thread. TIA~ Frigga

And here is one of adorable little Max, the other person that died that week, with his loving Mother, the woman who is falsely accused of being an accomplice to murder by Rebecca Zahau's family in this Civil Case for $10 Million Dollars:

  • #1,554
^^^^^^^ I believe Dina Shacknai is a defendant in this Civil WD Case, isn't she? And isn't she requesting all of the information about her son's death, in this Wrongful Death Case, (where she is accused of being an accomplice to murder - even though there is no evidence at all to support that - in a case that was ruled a suicide)? And didn't (according to four law enforcement agencies, the ME, and 15 detectives) Rebecca Zahau kill herself, just 40 hours after he had a fatal accident while under her supervision? While little Max still lay in the ICU on life support?

Yes? Then I have the right thread.

Nina Romano with her nephew, sweet, little Max - who would barely make it to 6 years old, due to the negligence of Rebecca Zahau.

And here he is with both Nina, and his Mother, both of whom he loved dearly, according to all reports:
