WTH Are Brad's Lawyers Up To Now????

Note: when K&B say "he didn't go to the store until after 6:00 am" that is not the same thing as not going to ANY store. He could have gone to a different store; they are basically saying he didn't go to THE (HT) store before 6:00 am, if you want to get anal-retentive about it (and I think we do cause we seem to excel at that!). They may have intended to say he didn't go anywhere, to any store, at any time before 6am, but that's not what they wrote.

Their website now says, "These were Brad's only trips to any store that morning." Do you think they just changed it?? I suppose that is possible.

I wonder if they will also revise their comments on the photos of the scratches.

Actually I view his attorney's as thieves if this guy is innocent. Charging him billable hours to prove he is innocent in the court of public opinion. Don't seem to recall that ever being a responsibility for a defense lawyer until the client is accused. They sure are putting in a lot of work for a guy they want to claim has no worries.

Boy THAT'S the truth! At what...probably $300/hour? Not to mention they've asked for reams and reams of phone data and email data from all the affiants in the custody case. He'll have nothing left and be indigent by the time they're through digging through alllll that flotsam.

Could the lawyers be doing some of this in exchange for publicity? The case does have public attention.

What they wrote almost looks like a direct shot at those of us on WS to me. Where else are they getting that people are questioning certain things?? Has to be off a website, where they can see all the discussion. People certainly aren't standing out front of Brad's house talking in a tone loud enough to hear.

I'd take a bet that they are reading here. I've seen it in other cases with this board and others.

Wasn't that the other group asking for all that - Sandlin and Davian for the custody case ? Two sets of lawyers - bet that $300 a week to Nancy is a drop in the bucket compared to the costs of all these lawyers. Bet they aren't accomodating his payment plan ideas either.

Will you take a bet they didn't notice the difference in his shoes ?

You are right RC. It is Sandlin & Davidian that is asking for that paperwork. I'll just bet mommy was paying the bill at the HT the other day. I can't imagine Cisco is still paying Brad so he's gotta be getting funds from somewhere or someone.

Thanks for spelling it properly - I was too lazy to go look

Okay locals, please forgive me, but I am playing angel's advocate to the earlier person playing devil's advocate.

How far is this HT from the Cooper's house? A poster suggested Brad went home, kicked off his shoes and had to go back out again.

If he's to and from home in less than 15 minutes (he's not IN his car at the HT parking lot until 6:26 at the earliest). How long does it take to drive there and back?

5 minutes home, 5 minutes back and 5 minutes at the house to get comfy, ditch shoes, do something with the shirt, grab a watch it looks like to me, and then go back out again with sandals.

If he's still on "administrative leave" they likely are. At the point they terminate him (and unless he's under contract they can in NC due to it being a "work at will" state) he is probably still on the payroll. But at the end of this K&B will own his house, his cars, his 401K and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Medical emergencies if you're uninsured and big legal troubles will sink you faster financially than the most contentious divorce ever could...even if you've got 3 wives and 10 kids.

As to Brad wearing a collared shirt only on the second HT trip... is it possible he noticed the scratch marks on his neck and put a collar on to hide them?

That makes sense to me jmflu because I've been thinking the difference between those photos could be shirt collar tucked in and shirt collar left out.

It is 7 or 8 minutes from HT to his house on Wallsbugh Court depending on route and traffic lights. So he would not have had much time at home before he had to turn around and head back to the store to get there before he is seen purchasing the detergent and juice.

Here is the receipt with the Tide on it.
Also notice it does NOT say the customers name like it did with Cooper.
It does NOT say 'DSC', but SC.
The VIC discount is aligned, not set off to the edge.
