Removed link because it is posted above. Poor Aliayah. This is so frustrating.

In an earlier statement, they said that Aliayah did not leave the house on her own. My opinion: So, if no one broke in, and she didn't leave on her own, that only leaves one other option. She was
removed by someone and RL, LL or both know who that is.

So basically, the conference says that LE and FBI have been working every day on the case. And, essentially that RL or LL did something with Aliayah, but they can't make an arrest. Again only my opinion there. Disappointing.

ALso press conference said that there was no evidence to think that other children are at risk in Lewis County. To me, that statement alone says that they know who did this, but can't charge it yet.

This is more than frutstrating. Poor Aliayah. It also blows Lena Lunsford's theory about a "non-blood" relatvie taking her. Seeing as SHE was the last person claiming to see HER daughter alive. I have to have faith that this isn't over yet-and that the FBI must know who did this -they are just waiting for the pieces to fall into place.

Thanks Westinlund I was coming to post that video myself.

A HUGE thank you to the local person who takes it upon his or her self to video these press conferences!!!! It's a wonderful and self-less thing you are doing to take time out of your life and schedule so that the rest of us can see the footage!

:tyou:

I think, like most cases, you can glean a lot from what he "will not discuss".

Errrrrrrrrr! I am always keeping up with sweet Aliayah's case, but refrain from posting, because I have absolutely nothing positive to say!! I'm beyond frustrated, but will never give up hope that our little angel will get the justice she deserves!!!

  • #546
It does not take a rocket scientist to know that either or both RL and LL did away with this child. My money is on R, but Lena still knows the details. WHERE her little body was hid, is the biggest question.
It still amazes me that there are one or two people on this board that still do not believe that her scum parents are guilty.
You have to remember that Aliayah was not RL's blood child. Who knows what sort of resentment brewed in him, over her.

So does anyone know what the tracker Joe is doing these days,...besides Ms. Pennypacker, or whatever her name is? Is he even still "looking" for Aliayah?

I pray for Aliayah everyday- she deserves to be found!! It makes me so angry when I think of the many MANY people who would have loved to have had a little girl like Aliayah to love and cherish. It is hearbreaking.

I find this an interesting statement from Lena Lunsford's attorney:

Last week, Lena Lunsford's attorney said she believes there is no way her daughter wandered off.

Since Lena was the last one to see her alive, and police have ruled out the possibility someone broke in an "kidnapped her" ---that pretty much narrows it down -doesn't it?

All I can say at this time is since this happened in Lewis County, all I expect is another case just like 1999. Oh how I pray I am wrong. I for 1 will never quit looking for Aliayah, but it sure seems like if a person or persons disappear in Lewis County, they are NEVER found. The Local LE and FBI worked on the 1999 case, It was not nor ever will be solved. I tried to bring in outside help , and that has turned into a 3 ring circus. Then people want to bring in others, who the heck would even try to come help now after the way PPP was and is treated by the locals. I would think TES amd Marc Klaus would RUN not walk away from any request for their help in finding Aliayah as would anyone else after the way the community treated the PPP Recovery Team that did come to help. I do not believe this would not have happened in any other County in WV. I know it wouldn't have happened in Webster County. Aliayah, I love you and I will never give up on finding you.

I think the problem lies in the fact that the Lunsford home was not secured as a crime scene early enough in this investigation.. for that reason, evidence may be hard to come by. In other cases where children are snatched from their beds, LE take sheets, pillows, mattresses, carpet, and everything else in for testing.

If my initial theory from way back in Sept holds true, then all of that evidence should have been gathered. If you will remember, it was reported very early on, that Aliayah was a sleep over during the night and had to be brought home due to having "an accident" with her potty training. It was also reported that the Lunsfords were partying that night. I thought that RL was angry to leave his party and punished Aliayah and that she died from her injuries overnight and was disposed of in the morning.

Of course, holes in this theory are plenty. For starters, we have since learned that Aliayah had no friends. So who was she staying with? It must have been grandma, but no one has come forward to say EXACTLY where she was? Why is that? Why are these people afraid to state even the simplest of facts?

The next hole comes when the earlier stated fact about having an accident gets no more mention: completely dropped as if is unimportant.

And the last hole is that no one has confirmed where the Lunsfords were or who was caring for the children while they were out of the house.

We need to get a dialog going to discuss what actually happened and what they reported in the first day of her disappearance.

This next part is a piece of damaging info that that has been flying rampantly around since the very beginning of this case. So, mods if you need to snip, go ahead. On every Facebook page, on topix, and in the community itself, it is known that one of the older girls told a school friend that she couldn't attend a weekend event because she would be looking for Aliayah. The school friend and her parent have both said that this took place BEFORE Sept. 24. So, when exactly did Aliayah go missing?

I personally spoke to a very credible person that said they saw Aliayah between 6:00 and 6:15 on the eve of the 23rd.
As to why the house was not made a crime scene on day 1 is beyond me. I do know a "reserve deputy" was at the scene within 20 mins of 911 call. Same "reserve deputy" said Lena took and failed a polygraph test. There are many rumors floating around, most are just that, rumor. I do know that there are certain places in Lewis County that have not been searched but should be. I also know that some people from the ICC that this "reserve deputy" runs. spends a lot of time "following folks that ARE searching for Aliayah. I have asked, no begged to have cadaver dogs go to some areas , some dog owners have said they would gladly do this , but they have to be brought in by LE and so far we have not got LE to call them in, or even return a call on the matter. therefore if anyone out there has a cadaver dog and is willing to help search a few areas that a lot of us feel need searched and is willing to do this as a volunteer , please contact me. There is a lot of things I do KNOW are NOT being done to find Aliayah. I also know "tips" have been sent in tha have been discarded as non worthy of checking into. They could have very well been the link to find her, but powers being ignored them. :banghead:

Thank for saying that Vickie! (The part about the sighting the night before she was reported missing). It came out that she was seen at picnic or family barbecue in the summer and also that she was seen at a rummage sale held by a local church, but this is the first time I've read that is had been as recent as Sept. 23.

Vickie-
I have said it before, and will say it again Aliayah is blessed to have you on her "team." I am so sorry that the PPP Recovery Team was treated poorly in Lewis County.

I am pretty sure that TES or Mark Klaus would not be afraid of the "locals" there, but the truth is -they simply can't and won't come unless Lena asked them too. That being said, I think there should be a law passed that if a child (like Aliayah) vanishes and her parents refuse to search for her/him, that a relative (Aunt Vickie) would have the right to go to a local court and get "custody" of the child so that these people could come in and search. The problem I see in Lewis County is there are SO many ***secrets*** and the locals are afraid if these people come in-they will find them.

Very sad for the missing in Lewis County.

Keep in mind that this is a public forum and anyone can come here and read or copy info. I used this site for several years before actually becoming a member.

It's something that we all have to keep in mind. Suspects, killers, victims, children of victims all have access to what we say.

Vickie, however sound and just your reasoning may seem, please reconsider. In my eyes, no slander cast your way has lessened my belief that you are the most reliable, credible family member this little girl has to get her home. I have, since day one, relied on your input as the gospel regarding the rescue of this little lost angel.

Ask for strength and courage to continue doing the right thing and overcoming the distractions. This little girl needs you. Sorry you were dealt this hand, but the outcome all lays in how it's played. Look around. There isn't anyone else who could hold the hand, let alone play it.

There are more honorable pursuits than this I suppose. I'd be hard pressed to list one. When it gets too rough there, come here. You'll find meaningful support to help deal with the meaningless distractions.

Once again I will ask it, because maybe I missed the answer,...but what became of the "world famous" Joe? Is he gone now?

I haven't heard what happened to Joe Nick and the PPP team. They were mentioned a few times in that latest press conference.

After SIX MONTHS of searching and trying to piece together evidence to build a case, I fear that Aliayah will never get the justice she deserves. Judging by other cases, if the missing person hasn't been found by now, they probably won't be. Which kills me. This little girl is out there. And, 99.9 % of people believe that either Ralph or Lena knows where she is. The good news is that you are able to be charged and convicted without a body being found. It is hard, but it can be done.

I'm already looking forward to my 3 year old's birthday coming up at the end of June. Aliayah's birthday is in July. I can't imagine the suffering that her siblings have been through. It's heartbreaking.

This is one time, I hope that you are wrong. It is hard to believe that it has been six months and still, we are left with nothing. And Lena Lunsford and Ralph Lunsford still walk this earth like nothing has happened. It makes me so angry.

I am confident that neither of them will EVER have custody of the children again. And I am convinced that one of those children know something. And when they finally feel safe and KNOW they will never be returned, they will speak up.

I hope I am wrong too. But, it has been speculated that RL is connected to the deaths of his two relatives (also from Lewis County) and they have never been found either.
