W a link to this new FB on the other Lewis County page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lewis-County-Rumor-Mill/268833683147202

Since it names itself the "Rumor Mill", take all postings with a large grain of salt. But one of the first posts is a rumor that little A. was found in the river, and that the police asked searchers not to return at 8pm. I HOPE that this is just a rumor, and suspect it is only that, but figured I would link to this new page so others can keep up with postings there as well.

I think the whole thing about being pregnant and not being able to take a LDT is an old wives tale so to speak.I think they may just give the courtesy so as to not push a mom who is far enough along into labor in case something should go wrong so she can not later blame the stress of the LDT (thereby avoiding frivolous lawsuits). How's that for a run-on sentence!!!? lol

After the birth I would think (but honestly don't know for a fact) that they would wait until there are no meds in her system.
3 months? Nah. I am thinking more like a week to heal and BOOM let her take one! But then, what do I know? lol

Somebody with LE experience will weigh in here. I'm sure.

Someone might even sketch in a "somebody in that house said they were going to tell what they knew, and a child was taken to instill fear in that person" scenario, based on the above.

You could also use the scenario that for years missing family members have been assumed to be in a lake but were never found.

County Sheriff Michael Gissy is eager to resume a search of Stonewall Jackson Lake for clues to the 1999 disappearance of two women for a reason never before revealed: A fisherman found a purse in the lake several years ago that contained articles belonging to both women.

Isn't that the name of the resort that was mentioned on NG last night as being the place of employment for someone?

I do believe you are correct. This is posted as his work place on a FB page too. Good catch!

Off to do a bit of research on that lake and the area in general. I feel woefully behind on this case.

Could the 9 YO have seen pillows under a blanket arranged to look like this missing child was under there? I wonder if she personally saw, with her own two eyes, a living, breathing, walking, talking, screaming, sick child. No, I don't think so because she said Aliayah had finally "gone to sleep" right?

I wonder what the actual odds are on something like that - someone having three family members go missing during two different incidents? I am not a mathematician by any stretch, but that sure does seem odd to me.

The aunt's son failed a polygraph. 'nuff said.
Kind of reminds me of Ward Weaver's upbringing.

First of all, this post is not directed at you. Second of all, what? a pregnant woman can't tell the truth? This is totally BS IMO. If your little girl is missing, take the dang poly.

"...failed a polygraph but hasn't been named as a suspect in the case," Charley Project says. Hmmm.....

No big believer in polygraphs, me. But still - quite interesting that he was not named by LE.

Mrs Stalnaker is the grandmother to SD and Ms. Friend was the aunt.

Is there really a stepdad, as in are they married?

It is ridiculous that JVM and NG claim to be child advocates, etc. and then do this MJ trial when there is a current missing child, aged 3. You don't just show her one day and then move on. If not for WS, I would just assume all these missing people had been found, since they so seldom go back to the cases or continue with them. Only if something juicy or salacious happens...
