Yes they are. I found 3 deer skulls Thursday while searching. We came upon a very nice camp some man had built. He was very nice to us and let us look around even though he had already searched his property. I was more scared of coming upon a meth lab than anything. Alot of the searchers were in bright orange but quite a few were in the dark camo also
That's pretty darn scary. Thank you for searching!

If Aliayah has been abducted by someone trying to protect her the person could have cut and dyed her hair. Even have her dressed and looking like a boy.

I hope everyone looks closely at every child's face. Not the hair, not the gender, not the clothing.

Right! The big thing to look for would be the 4 missing top teeth I would think.

JMO but if someone abducted her to protect her I think they would have come forward 7 days ago. JMO

I was just wondering who in her life, or what kind of stranger-person would do that? Seems like LE would already know about anyone known to her...

So I guess I don't understand the theory of someone taking her to protect her....maybe it was based on wishful thinking? (which I understand)

I agree, no one who had her for any "good" reason would fail to contact LE (probably many days ago) and explain why. Didn't happen, IMO.

That might be true however there could be reasons they would not. Fear of the parents, fear of going to jail, fear of never seeing her again and one other BIG fear. Fear the DSS would return the child to her home.

Someone needs to invite step-dad out for a drink. A night out with the guys. Get my drift.

I would imagine anyone who cared enough about this child to face possible federal kidnapping charges has already been tracked down by the police or FBI. I really do not see this as an option, personally, I think it is just one way that allows LE to say publicly that she could be alive. If they had evidence pointing to this theory, the rivers and fields and woods would not be the places to look, JMO.

It could be anyone. Someone who had seen her at a store, a party, a former neighbor, someone who had heard about her and went to rescue her. Might even be a homeless person. Stranger things have happened.

I'm praying she is alive and safe.

If someone had taken her for her "own good", it is still kidnapping and the FBI is involved, I think they would have made contact. They are also at risk of being liable for this search that has gone on for 8 days now. I don't believe that is true.

and if you think about it...if someone was going into this home and taking children "for their own good" then chances are the 8/9 mth old baby would be missing too. IMO

About the local jail. I know locally we have a jail but it's only use now is a holding facility. My father is a LEO I tried calling him to ask but he's on a date. So when he calls me back i'll ask about the jails in that area.

I'm pretty sure Clarksburg has one, but I think they use it like a holding facility too. They probably still use them at most courthouses if for nothing else but to hold a prisoner during a trial.

None of that article is very optimistic...taking away the other children and her getting a lawyer...yikes.

Everyone in the town should look around. Has someone suddenly moved or left? Is anyone missing from work? Has a local homeless person suddenly disappeared, quit standing in the same spot all day?

Is someone buying toys and children's clothing and they don't have a child? Are they buying Juicy Juice and Fruit Rollups? Look inside cars at Walmart's and other stores.

In otherwords, BE NOSEY!

Oh my. Is this the same attorney offering his services? Oh my.

Now that the children are under the care of child services.....does that mean the police can question them without a parent present?
