From this article they were moved on the 29th?-and the children were removed on the 30th.

http://www.wvpubcast.org/newsarticle.aspx?id=22019

I still have no clue why they moved them, unless they had the room monitored?

Can anyone think of another case where they moved the family to a hotel? I just think that is pretty significant. If they found something in the house, why not remove the children right away? Why wait until they get back home then remove them the next day?

Everyday I hope and pray with all my WS friends that "our" precious little one has been found safe. Everyday I hope to see her smiling and happy. Being loved as she so deserves to be.

I don't want to give up. I want to believe in miracles. I want Aliayah to be alive and well..............

I want Aliayah to be found! Wherever she is, Aliayah is loved by many.

God Bless you little one.

BBM....if the reason for CPS removing the children was because of conditions in the home, then maybe technically the children had to be living in the home to remove them?
I'm thinking if they would have been removed because of abuse, CPS could have removed them from the mother's care no matter where they were. Abuse wouldn't end just because you now have maid service and free wi-fi.

The image of her sweet little sad face haunts me. I sit here surrounded by my 4 cats and 2 dogs and think they get move love than this poor little girl ever received.

It sounds like you have a home filled with the kind of love Aliayah (and, what the heck, all of us!) needs. :heartluv:

JMO I don't think it was conditions of the home. My partner and I have, between us, worked with hundreds of families refered to us by CPS here in WV. They would have refused to allow them to move back into the home if conditions were to bad for it to be safe for them to reside there. After LE was in the home, it would have been reported to cps right away. Unless they were told not to bring the kids back there and they did it anyway. I suppose they could be that clueless, she did sell food stamps when she had to have known that she was being watched.

If LE searched the hotel before the family was allowed back into the home, LE should have reported it to CPS right away. But maybe it wasn't and that's why the delay in removing the children.

I feel like I"m grasping at straws but something just isn't normal about LE's handling of this case.

I'm not sure how many are moved by LE and how many are moved because they make the choice to move. Lisa Irwin's family went to a hotel at first. I've read several other cases where the family was moved. The Hotel rooms are usually bugged by the FBI.

Moving the family allows LE to get in and do searches without people being in the home moving things around and removing things.

While the children are with the adults in the hotel LE can keep tabs on them. Once they go home its harder thus, take the children.

I think it took so long to remove the children because LL has sued in the past. LE and DHHR had to cross their Ts and dot their Is. They had to make sure everything was done according to law. It could have taken a lot of brainstorming to figure out how to legally remove the children. IMO

I wouldn't count on it. Don't forget that she has already lawyered up

I do keep forgetting that. She can't afford FOOD, but she can afford an attorney. Go figure. And the only ones who hurt are the little ones.

I don't believe it was the "conditions" either. I have followed many many missing persons cases -and can't remember any family ever being moved to a hotel (besides the Irwins-who moved themselves.) What I am counting on-is either the had the home "bugged" or the room "bugged" -or -the children began talking, OR that if they took the children, it would cause either LL or RL to talk. The children must know ALOT about LL and RL and when they are comfortable, I believe they will talk.

Maybe a test they had done came back positive and that's what they needed to remove the other children. I'm glad the FBI are still here. That must mean they are working on leads, evidence.

I don't guess LL has had the twins........... I don't think she will talk when she has the twins but at least it gives LE a shot at it. She might go for a "deal". Never know. I just hope and pray she does tell where Aliayah is and what happened to her. I don't believe she doesn't know anything or that Aliayah was taken.

I don't understand why there is no media coverage of RL. Where is he and what is he doing? Why hasn't he been interviewed or even filmed? Why does he seen to be off-limits?

Aliayah wasn't his and she's the one who is gone. I don't know if the other children showed signs of abuse or not. I hope not but I'd bet they do.

I wonder if the father of child #3 has taken custody of his son?

This is my speculation: They were playing good cop with her. The house was probably really bad, the state gave them so much time to get it cleaned up. LE offered to put them in a hotel while that is done. I think they never even tried to clean up the house or did a bad job, officials came in to inspect and deemed the house was still not in the condition for the children so CPS took them.

I hadn't thought of that. Wonder how long those take to process?

takes 5-7 days in Iowa when done by CPS
Judge has to sign off on it, then appt. has to be made at a hospital or testing place, they have to establish a chain of custody for the sample, photos are taken of the person giving the sample, then it's sent off.

I really think we need a chart for this one. I am another one who is confused to the babydaddies in this case. I still think LL lied about the Daddy in the 911 tape-jmo of course.

For what it is worth, I don't think Lena hurt her daughter. I think her choices might have awful consequences, but I don't think she went into Aliayah's room and harmed her. I pray for everyone involved. Especially this sweet, innocent child.
