In jail or getting ready to go to jail? My opinion only. Mom has a lawyer. why doesn't she just let him talk if she's to upset to do it herself?

I agee!! I see LL getting the heavy end of a federal sentence on her little "snap" deal. I also think the FBI will giving her a few more charges with those. She should have talked from day1. I believe parents should be responsible for their children. IF they vanish-they should be FORCED to cooperate or be charged. When a child is really kidnapped, their parents, like Mr. Mark Klass will get invisible, so that LE can FIND the kidnapper. It is obvious in little Aliayah's case, her "parents" have forgotten she is a gift and not something they bought at Wal Mart and trash when they are done with it. **sighs...

What is up with that? There is finally a plea from the family and it comes from a great aunt & a great uncle? Where in the heck is the immediate family?

This same great aunt (VB) is also posting on facebook.

She (VB) states, Joann (Lena's Mother/Aliayah's Gma) is very distraught. That she wanted to attend the balloon release, but felt she would detract from the event. She wasn't at the balloon launch because she wants this to be about Aliayah. If she went, all they would do is talk about her. I want them to talk about Aliayah and help bring her home.

It does not sound like the great aunt has even spoken to Lena or Ralph?

I'm sorry, Kimbreeley. (hugs) Just like everyone here, I want to know what happened to little Aliayah. I hate going to sleep without knowing, and its worse waking up in the morning, with no news. I hate feeling so helpless, and wish that parents who are too stressed to deal with their littleones would just be generous enough, to give the children to someone (like any of us) who would just love them to pieces.

Little Aliayah-my prayer is that one day, you will know how truly loved you are.

I'm glad LE appears to be forging ahead with its investigation. But I am appalled that there has not been way more media attention about this. It's reminding me a bit of Adji Desir's case when it comes to lack of media attention, maybe even worse.

What's the problem here?

It's my opinion that LE convinced the media that reporting specifics on the case would hurt their chances of finding Aliayah alive. I believe that they think she was sold or abducted. Probably drug related. But that is just my opinion based on the odd way that LE has handled this case from the very beginning.

I was going to try and avoid commenting about the family....but I can't help myself.
I have no problem with extended family making pleas in the media. Especially since the immediate family doesn't see the need to. But what I do have a problem with is the extended family only coming forward because they feel they have been represented unfairly. Did they come forward to defend Aliayah or themselves? all imo.

Special Agent Jeff Killeen said he can't discuss law enforcement's interest in Vadis. Though authorities are still focused on a "couple of places" in the south Weston area, they have "run out" the search there.

The "public materials" are more pictures of Aliayah. The extended family is just now gathering them for future release. After being told by these people "personally" that there are no other pictures available, I am just beside myself. Our community has spent thousands of hours searching, passing out flyers, organizing petitions, the balloon launch, calling/emailing news media around the country, and now the extended family comes forward saying that there are more pictures.

OK, now we know there are other pictures of Aliayah. Why haven't these pictures been released on Monday when the so-called gag order was lifted? Only by getting the most up-to-date information out to the world would this help Aliayah if she had been abducted.

My take on the gag order being placed on the immediate family was to insure that LE got the information first, rather than hear it on the TV. I don't see why it was placed on the extended family, or even if it was actually placed on the extended family.

That's exactly what my wife said. It's almost as if the extended family is using the "gag order" to cover their slow response to releasing those photos. But that is just my opinion.

I don't think there was an official gag order. From what I'm reading on the internet from the extended family members who are now talking, they hadn't even talked to LE until this week.

I was trying to search oil & gas records last night to try to find out the legal owner of the property on Vadis rd. I didn't have much luck.

Are we to believe that these "distant relatives" who don't KNOW LL or RL -were under a gag order? This case just keeps getting worse and worse. In my most humble opinion, the video I watched last night -seemed much more about protecting their reputations and little about Aliayah. Gag order or NOT one of my family members goes missing --I WILL produce any information I can to bring that loved one home. I would rather be in jail for trying to SAVE someone-than for selling "Snap" benefits.
