That sounds like maybe they already tried to get a grand jury indictiment and it didn't fly. Could be why they waited to do the press release & offer a reward.

That comment was in regard to why LE will not release details about the POI's. Killeen will not compromise the case in other words.

They started pretty high @ $20k.

Killeen said investigators believe there is other information being held in the community. Law enforcement officials believe the reward will help lead to the disclosure of this information.

It sounds that way to me. I'm guessing Lena doesn't have a lot of fine upstanding citizens as her circle of friends.
Would they give the reward to a known drug user IF that person had no involvement? That money would buy a ton of drugs (sadly)

The reward, which is being offered through the FBI, is for information leading to the recovery of Aliayah Lunsford.

It is also available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons involved in her disappearance.

When I mentioned earlier that I was perplexed as to why more recent pictures were needed, I suppose that I was asking this with the thought in mind of my own theory about Aliayah. I honestly in my heart of hearts feel that she is no longer alive. I feel L. "traded" her off to someone very bad. If this is the case, a bad person would likely do bad things.
I really, really hope that there is a NEED for more recent pictures, but unfortunately I do not think that this need exists. I pray I am wrong.

maybe so she could prove she was there if anyone asks? Who knows....but IMO they should have all been more worried about pictures of Aliayah.

I still think if the family wants to be heard, they should contact those girls from Bring Them Home Now on blog talk radio. They have extended family members on there all the time. They would all be welcome there. I know someone mentioned that to them the other day on facebook but I don't know if they've pursued it.

Grandma raised her from birth til age 18 months-while Lena was in jail. All of the children have been with gma on and off. No foster care til now.

If this is true, Aliayah bonded with Grandma as her mother, not LL who was in jail. It had to have been traumatic for Aliayah to have to switch mother's once LL got out of jail. I can't see LL handling the behavior problems Aliayah may have had once she wasn't living with grandma anymore.

Now there's an idea........lets' try and gather as much information as we can for Aunt Vickie and the family to get media coverage. The family wants to talk, so let's try and find them the outlets they need to talk. We've been around here awhile so we should know about all the people who cover missing children.
