A digital sign will be up along Route 50 in the next few months showing the information on missing 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford.
Volunteers say they've talked to Lamar Advertising about getting her information on the digital sign along Route 50 East towards Clarksburg. They say it should be up after election season.

Community Remembers Aliayah Seven Months After Disappearance
Tuesday marked seven months to the day since Aliayah Lunsford disappeared from her Lewis County home.

Although the windy day wasn't good for a proposed candlelight vigil in her memory, it worked out well for its alternative.

A crowd gathered to release balloons bearing Aliayah's name, hoping they might reach someone who can help find her.

Keeping true to their word, Aliayah Lunsford's family is having vigils oneach anniversary of her disappearance.

Her mother is in prison for welfare fraud. Her stepfather is lying low. Her six siblings, some just infants, are in the custody of child welfare authorities. And Aliayah Lunsford, the brown-eyed 3-year-old who vanished from her West Virginia home a year ago Monday, is still missing.
"It just seems like everybody's forgotten her," said Aliayah's great-aunt Vickie Bowen, "but we're never going to forget."

Lena Lunsford told police her daughter was in bed at 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 24, 2011, but then was missing when she checked a few hours later.

Missing W.Va. girl's mom loses all parental rights

The mother of a 3-year-old West Virginia girl who vanished without a trace in September 2011 won't regain custody of her other six children when she gets out of prison later this month.
The state Supreme Court this week unanimously upheld a Lewis County judge's order terminating Lena Lunsford's parental rights _ a decision backed by child welfare workers and the unidentified father of one of the children.

In September 2011, a sad-eyed 3-year-old named Aliayah Lunsford disappeared from a home in Lewis County. Despite the best efforts of law enforcement, no trace of her has ever been found.

In October 2011, the state Department of Health and Human Resources filed an abuse and neglect petition, alleging Lena and Ralph Lunsford's other six children were in imminent danger.
