It will be interesting to see how long the police keep the van. If it gets returned (to someone ... Gabby's parents?) then it is likely that they have found no evidence of foul play in the van.

Though, I wonder if they will be gathering forensic samples - soil, plant debris, mud - from under the van, to see where the van may have been. In their efforts to find Gabby.

This could be a long forensic examination.
Might not be simply 'cos I don't imagine he would have had the savvy to clean it up properly. I realise that's pure speculation on my part. (He could be a mastermind for all I know about him. Almost nothing at all!)

Probably nothing. But keeps the pressure on.
Someone posted that pic on here yesterday. I don't think it's him and if it is, it wasn't from yesterday. Guy is way too casual. Not a care in the world. The BL we're looking for is essentially on the lam.

..but only if they're hungry, I'd imagine?
It's not personal, is it?
I'm not sure. I have not had a personal relationship with a Gator as I am in Bulldog territory.;)
I imagine they are hungry a lot and snap up anything they see.

JMO, but I don't believe BL ever drove that van back to his parents home. I don't believe he has been at his parents house this whole time refusing to speak with LE .And I don't know, but I'm thinking his parents home is probably being staked out by a lot of news reporters. So how did BL just walk out the door and drive away in that Mustang without notice. One has to asks what lengths would a parent go to, to protect their child.

How did the van get to his parent’s house then?

Sure, but the tiktok woman claims that she has lots of communication with the FBI, yet apparently the FBI did not tell her that she had important information that should be released by FBI when appropriate. That did not happen.

Instead, the tiktok woman had lots of contact with FBI and, for whatever reason, then approached media outlets (FoxNews) to broadcast what she thinks she knows about Gabby's fiance, where he was, what exact minute he was there, where he was going, his demeanour, that he did not smell bad and so on.

It doesn't really add up for me as anything more than someone wanting to draw attention to herself and inject herself into a missing person's case. If she had relevant evidence/information about the disappearance, why is she approaching the media to tell her story?

"In a fourth TikTok video on Friday, Baker clarified that she had been in "constant contact" with the FBI in the days prior to her posting the videos.

"Everything I have told you, [the FBI does] know," said Baker. "I'm just putting this out here to maybe reach people who had seen him that day, or maybe, had been in contact with him after me and my boyfriend had been in contact with him."

If it helps find GP I'm willing to forego my customary snarky comments about this situation.

Yes, when I took time to read it all, more than likely not. But as you note, every little bit helps.

In another set of photos of them in a hammock by a waterfall, she is reading "Fight Club" in the hammock. He's reading a book too, with a light cover. It could be "Lullaby" but I can't make out the title. This is on her Instagram. Both books about violence, right?
I thought the title of the book BL was reading was Revenant. About a man's survival after being attacked by a bear. Leonardo DeCaprio was in a movie about it.

I think he freaked out when he realized they were turning off on a different road than he had expected and he would have a longer walk back to the campground, or possibly realizing he might have to cross the Snake River if they went too far south.

Which leads me to think they might have driven the road from Coulter Bay to get to Spread Creek and he walked back from the campsite (while "camping along" along the Snake River to get to Coulter Bay for some reason). He seems to have known the route. And was hanging around Coulter Bay without the van. So what was he doing and for how long?
Agree and And being on foot....saying the van was in Jackson...weird.. so how did he get so far North...

Where I am from, any New York accent is a heavy New York accent. Maybe the same is true for that speaker.

I agree. I’m not saying that man in the bar was Brian, as Brian doesn’t seem like he would be that confrontational, but sometimes stress, etc , can cause our thick accent to pop out. I know my “Southern” comes out real think when I’m riled up.

Jackson WYOMING. Jackson ID is a tiny town at least 2oo miles away.
It is saying they spent 20 minutes at Rustic Row, Victor, ID, per a witness.

It took me all day to catch up to this thread.

Most of what I saw was Brian is kind, Brian seems sweet, Brian seems sensitive, Brian seems nice, Brian seems normal, Brian was just scared, etc., etc., etc..

We are here today because he is none of those things. Not one bit.

THIS IS All ON HIM AND NOT GABBY!

Gabby Petito fiancé Brian Laundrie 'is not missing, he is hiding,' attorney for her family says - CNN
I don't know why they're even looking for him. He's hiding (not missing) and they're not gonna arrest him anyways. What are they gonna do when they find him?

I do wonder a bit if it is a ruse. With his parents declaring him a "missing person," LE is able to access his digital records from Google, Facebook, etc., without a warrant or subpoena. It's their policy to cooperate with emergency requests regarding missing people.

This is super cynical but maybe LE has to pretend to look for him while they pull and review all his records to find Gabby. They seemed to be able to narrow down their search today to Spread Creek.

He didn't say the van was in Jackson, I don't believe - but it's curious that he intended to head there. Jackson and Spread Creek are both south of Colter Village (or however far north he got before he changed his mind) and he may not have been thinking clearly about which road to take. You know, like I want to go to downtown Sacramento, but the highway signs only say Reno . . .

And he could’ve used that same fork the entire trip for all we know.
Wonder if he uses it for mom's home cooking, lol. And I hope she supplies him with melon rind bowls. jmo

*cringe* Absolutely not! I started at 12 years old…many young women are very interested in True Crime…
Me too, it's all about human behavior. I've always been curious. It's interesting, and there's always more to learn.
