But BL is right handed if they were fighting face 2 face he would grab her left arm. And marks would be on the left arm.
She was running away per report, that would be his right hand if she was ahead of him.
I'll go ahead an offer up that IMO is also a defensive wound and that her arms were over her head to keep him from hitting her head and face.
Look up domestic violence and defensive wounds seen.

If they were face to face. He was running after her and slapping her according to the first 911 caller. He does not have to be face to face to slap her. He would grab here by whichever arm he could grab first.

And we don't know if he is right or left handed or using both hands to slap her.

MOO.
My guess is that the incident on the 10th is simply GP’s dad asking for a welfare check on GP at the laundrie residence, her home.
Or trying to file a missing person report and giving the info that the laundrie residence is GP’s residence. Not having seen her driver’s license or the like, I have a suspicion that address is/was not her address of record.
Speculation
More speculation.
If a welfare check was performed at the laundry house, it would be very interesting to know what transpired. We’re LE granted entry? Who/what did they see? Makes me wonder about the we know where BL is comment

We all have the same information.
I conclude from it that he did go to Florida.

Actually, no we do not all have the same information. Some people know more than others. Some people have articles others do not have. That is what we are here for is to gather information from each other. And that's what I'm doing right now by asking these questions, Kittythehare, and I'm looking for facts that substantiate reports. I don't see anything wrong with that.

While there doesn’t appear to be a GPS antenna on the Mustang, there DOES appear to be one on the red truck (left rear roof). They need to impound that thing yesterday.
Huh? Fords... nor do I think most any other production vehicle... have visible "GPS antennas". Those are mounted (usually) on or be the top of the radio/nav housing under the dash well out of normal view. The equipment to which (I believe) you're referring is the Siruis/XM antenna... satellite radio.

MOO: I didn't claimed that her dad went to the house-I was careful to NOT say that- I only stated that the incident involved him. And it did. And I think it gives credence to a theory as to why the family never responded and immediately retained an attorney, of course we don't know what it was exactly and depending on what is buried in the redactions, I am fine being completely wrong. But it has not ever been debunked, "something" happened on the 10th and twice on the 11th AND on the 11th the missing person's report came out.

One can only imagine the horror of discovering your daughters boyfriend is unexpectedly home, with the van, without your daughter, and they won’t tell you anything. That’s the stuff of nightmares. That would have been the moment he truly knew something bad had happened to his daughter. I can’t even bear thinking about it, as a parent to a 22yo daughter. Pretty much any reaction he may or may not have had would be reasonable to me under those circumstances. MOO.

dang its a little chilly tonight n Florida, i was just out in the fields digging up some cotton rose plants and of course in shorts and a tank top and had to come back inside so if BL is in that reserve tonight with all that water, oh well!!

whenever you get temperature swings even just a rain storm hypothermia becomes an issue

I didn't word that well. The highly unlikely theory meant they may have talked about how to handle a possible break up, GP would picked be up by Yellowstone girl and return to FL with her. He goes back with van. He leaves to marinate on this in sadness, hiking/camping and returns and she isn't there. He figures it may have already happened (the leaving with Yellowstone girl), waits for a while without any contact and figures she is super super angry. He gives up finding her and leaves...then, we'll, I already wrote all of that possibility. Just a possibility, mind you. Highly unlikely and if we can rule any of this out, it helps narrow our focus.

No sane person takes off in their van and NOT flag down a State Trooper or a Park Ranger to call 911. No one leaves. He cannot legally use her van or credit cards and drive home. He is 24 years old old enough to know better.

My mom used to pop me on the thigh. It would whelp up in the shape of her hand and take several minutes to go away.
I remember rubbing my fingers over the raised areas, so maybe 20 min?
I was a very wild child, not claiming I didn't deserve to get popped! Lol
MOO

Ouch!
Thanks for being a wild child and giving an insight though haha

Is it possible that BL is in the Appalachian Mountains?

In my region of the Appalachia archery season is now underway. It is a prime time for avid hunters and land owners to be checking deer cams. We have several but I am not the one to normally show interest in them. Maybe now I should!

Thanks for posting this…lovely. She was so photogenic, beautiful girl. So many lovely photos, so many memories her family will always cherish. Sadly, there will be no more photos.

Thinking about her family tonight, and will be thinking about them tomorrow, it will be a tough day for them.

Fly high Gabby…
I watched the full 30 minute video and it’s beautiful

It's a nine hour drive from his home to the very southern end of the Appalachian Trail (northern Georgia). Someone would have had to driven him there, and then back (presuming it was family). They'd be on camera somewhere I think.
The AT is too highly trafficked (in general) for me to think it would be a wise decision. Also, he would be headed North in fall, which isn't wise either. There are plenty of less trafficked long distance trails with more attached wilderness that would be a better choice, IMHO.
Thing is, this isn't some rocket science that one would need "years of training" as some here would like us to believe. He literally could have had newbie camping knowledge and then added 10 days of studying at the beginning of this month that would have given him ample information to survive. So whether he had it before (I think he did - likely from GP and their time outdoors if nothing else, she seems to have had a lifetime of the outdoors) or he got it in 10 days before going on the run the result is the same - he CAN survive.

There's a man that decided to "chuck it all" one day and walked into the woods with NO experience at all and he managed to survive in the wildnerness for 27 years. People are way under estimating the will to survive IMO.
This is valid, but there's the other side too, where we see SAR pulling people out of the woods who are perfectly capable mountaineers, etc. That's the perspective I'm coming from. Things can go bad real fast, but also people can adapt and survive really well too.

I think we’ve seen in video he has a Sawyer Mini filtration device. It’s the same one I take when I go hiking. He may also have the drops (I take those as backup). If he has any experience tent camping or multi-day hiking, he’ll have already owned a way to make river or stream water potable.

or just go to the beach restrooms.
plenty of clean water there.
showers too

or Walmart restrooms.

why do people think he has to be in the wilderness?

That would be the last place I would be if I were him.

Covid mask, and he can go basically anywhere undetected.

Towel on his head (pretending to be hot)

bicycle helmet, sun glasses, rider's mask, bicycle.

college university...his backpack will fit right in...restrooms everywhere with water.

easy to hide in plain sight.

This is about BL behavior, not trying to discuss grandpa...

I can't shake the feeling that BL contacted the mom regarding the grandpa's behavior trying to contact GP.
Again that follows the actions of a man who bullies women.
Why not message the grandpa?
Hmm?
One more thing keeps popping into my head, but I can't remember it at the moment!
It will dawn on me soon!
MOO

Right. He has known since 8/30 (at the latest) that he killed Gabby and he was going to have to deal with it in one way or another. If he decided then to plan to run and hide once anyone was alerted, he could have been spending all that time researching what he'd need and where to go. If you have basic supplies, besides it being boring, you don't have to do much.
Absolutely. I think we may learn that some of the items bought with Gabby’s money will be used for his planned escape. JMO.

yeah. Point being in a decent size backpack it would be surely possible to pack enough food for a relatively long time... longer if one's metabolism allows. And, for the record, I'm not sponsored by Mountain House, I simply chose one brand as an example. How big was/is the backpack?
Mountain House (and similar) is super bulky. It would never fit in my food bag. For a week, at 2 a day, he'd need 14, and that still wouldn't provide enough calories. That, and the expense, and all the junk in it, is why I don't use it for backpacking. (I make my own.) It reportedly messes up your innards at first, too. I can't see him making his own, either. That takes a lot of different ingredients. I suppose he could go the Ramen route, but I just don't see someone who runs home to momma being able to sustain this for long.
