I’ve been wondering the same. It’s been spoken of many times but I have yet to see any confirmation. It’s just been accepted as fact, from what I’ve seen.

Right. I'm just looking for independent corroboration before I take it as fact.

Huh? Fords... nor do I think most any other production vehicle... have visible "GPS antennas". Those are mounted (usually) on or be the top of the radio/nav housing under the dash well out of normal view. The equipment to which (I believe) you're referring is the Siruis/XM antenna... satellite radio.

Huh, ok. I was told in another thread that there was no GPS antenna on the Mustang, so it wouldn’t have the SYNC system. I’m glad to hear I was given bad info!

I'd say there are very few people of BLs age, today, capable of living off the grid for an extended period of time: weeks, months and even years. Unless he or they were raised in an environment living off the land and scrounging for food, I find it highly unlikely most people could survive foraging for meal after meal in the wilderness. It is my belief he will be somewhere he knows well enough to find shelter and food without being caught. With winter on the horizon, and him being ill prepared, I just cant see him being in the Appalachian, Blue Ridge Mountains or anywhere else where the cold is real and food scarce. It also seems implausible he is being stowed away by family or friends. They must know they are placing themselves in legal jeopardy by doing something so foolish. Jmo

Speaking of the supposed camping trip. Has anyone else seen that camper? Does it even accomodate 3 people sleeping?

IMO that camper would only be big enough for two unless someone slept on the floor. But it would be interesting to know if the FBI has verified this 3 day camping trip and were told where the family actually went!

Even day packs have hip straps. Mine is 22 liters, and the hip strap is substantial.
If BL has an 85 liter pack, everyone will notice.
IMO he's at a cabin or someone's shed.

If a welfare check was performed at the laundry house, it would be very interesting to know what transpired. We’re LE granted entry? Who/what did they see? Makes me wonder about the we know where BL is comment

That is higher than the actual marks, by the way. Also, the blanch finger marks are going in the opposite direction to that kind of squeeze. If you watch the footage in motion she is actually rubbing her arm - either to self-soothe or because (In my opinion much more likely) she's still in pain. JMO.

We do know the dates, her mother has been quoted in many articles that they tried to make contact on the 10th. They stated it was not unusual to go several days without speaking with Gabby. Her mother stated when they received no response she felt something was wrong and went to LE on the 10th, police "blew her off” but on the 11th they filed the missing person report and went that same day to confiscate the van. Why ignore this?

The mother of a missing woman says her frantic messages to her daughter’s boyfriend and family have been ignored.
Gabby Petito’s mother Nicole Schmidt said on September 10 she contacted her daughter’s boyfriend Brian and mother Roberta Laundrie to try and get hold of her 22-year-old daughter, but she had been ignored.

Nicole says she hasn’t heard from Gabby since August 25 and has had no response from Brian and Roberta.

This kind of reinforces what I am hoping to rule out. If the attempts to contact were ONLY on the 10th and the BL family just wasn't available, for whatever reason-no clarity there either except that they weren't around when the "incident" that day happened-no idea where they were-, they may not have realized folks had been trying to contact them until AFTER the LE was involved. The LE came once on the 10th, likely spotted the van and had to come twice on the 11th before contact was made-as I understand it, and by then an attorney was involved.

With such limited information-including the curious redactions on what should be a simple report, this is the ONLY reason I can come up with as to why no one responded and why an attorney was secured (I was responding to a question, I was not saying that this IS what happened, only a possible reason for what transpired.)

As always, I would like to know more and be way off on this. There isn't enough out there yet to rule this idea out...MOO!!! Maybe soon?

dang its a little chilly tonight n Florida, i was just out in the fields digging up some cotton rose plants and of course in shorts and a tank top and had to come back inside so if BL is in that reserve tonight with all that water, oh well!!

But are any of these ideas practical right now?

It would be interesting to find out whether LE has BL's passport otherwise does he have a fake ID? Also would LE have checked whether BL left the country on or after September 11?
But which one of these destinations would be possible in September? I am Australian so I need your help to see if any of these destinations is possible.

MEXICO?
If I was BL, I would go to Mexico as my first choice. But how would BL get to Mexico?

My guess is that B's parents could have known on 10th September what was going to happen on 11th September, so they could have driven B to a city in the US near the Mexican border. It takes about 25 hours to drive there. With three drivers, they could have driven non-stop. The camper would have been packed with food and drinks plus more for B when he got there.
He could be staying in a hostel or Airbnb there. Then the parents drove back home another 25 hours or so with two drivers non-stop. The driving time would have been about 50 hours. They could have given B enough cash to live on as well and used cash to buy gas. Is it possible to pay for gas with cash?

However, the land border between Mexico and the United States is closed for nonessential travel through at least October 21. However, air travel is allowed. American travelers should remember they will need a negative Covid-19 test taken 72 hours or less before travel to return to the US but do they need one to enter Mexico by air? Otherwise, could he have flown to Mexico on 11th September with his parents driving him to an airport and LE have not checked that yet?

BAHAMAS OR CUBA?
This would be my second choice. I guess if you have enough money, you could pay someone to take you there by sea and you could land there illegally? But you would need cash to live on and for bribes.

HIDE ON A BOAT SOMEWHERE?
But when provisions run out, you need someone to do the shopping or have it delivered in a different name or catch fish. Do BL's parents own a boat?

HIDE IN ONE OF HIS FAMILY'S APARTMENTS OR AN EMPTY ONE?
I read this his parents own real estate so is BL hiding in one of them or has he found an empty one before the snowbirds arrive? Ghislaine Maxwell had her food delivered to her in another
name.

APPALACHIAN TRAIL?
This is an area that BL was familiar with. So perhaps BL's parents drove him there on 11th September. This is where Chris McDonough of the Interview Room suggested recently.

Very few people think that BL is where they are currently looking now in the Carlton Reserve - alive or dead. If he really wanted to commit suicide, he could have already done that much earlier. The parents and the lawyer are acting as if BL is still alive.

Do LE have access to BL's parents' bank accounts? I think if they could do a forensic analysis of them, LE would be able to get some answers.

Where do you think BL could be? I have simply put together most of the places that have been suggested on these threads.

Just based on gut feeling I think living a homeless type life in the wilderness somewhere. Of course no one knows for sure.

I think that is the point, not many people believe BL has that knowledge and instead would have to rely on what is in his backpack.

People keep talking about BL having a burner phone. Could he use that to get information on available food in that swamp?

That episode of Brian and the Moab police was not Brian's first rodeo, or Gabby's.. what we saw there was par for the course, that was how it was. She somehow gains some sort of ascendancy over him, ( his perception, she probably isn't aware of it ) he builds it up into a supreme court case in his head, he does his block finally, and it doesn't matter where, public, private, , he then feels good for a few hours , he feels 'on top'.. till the next build up starts, meanwhile she is walking on endless eggshells, endless apologetic avoidance tactics, endless examination of her own behaviour that may deflect his frightful rages.

Maybe his friends are smart and did the correct thing and went to LE instead of MSM. They say one positive word about him in public and they’d never live it down, as evidenced here. IMO

You would be surprised at how many you can sleep. We had one before getting a larger camper. There’s a full size bed on the top portion and then the seating area cushion pulls out onto a table to make another bed. We slept four people before. Comfortably? Not really, that’s why we upgraded lol. It can be done!
