And I don't really think BL was a domestic abuser in the normal sense.

I just think life got so distorted on the 'road", and the dreamers got caught in a tornado.

With all the unknowns --geography, money, more people, creating attention-- they were both just simply out of their league.

I feel that as Gabby got more anxious, Brian got more jealous, controlling and ultimately out of control...

Sorry I have to ask what is an abuser in a normal sense? I’ve done so much research on abusers because I was abused and they come in all forms, age and sizes including being female. I just wonder what your interpretation is that makes him different. I promise I’m not being argumentative I’m just curious, although this is a touchy subject for a lot of people and we know gabbys family keep referring to domestic abuse and learning about it to help stop it, so they clearly think this is what happened and they’re privy to more information than us. Please can people research and look up the myths surrounding abuse, for all the abused out there and so we can all learn.

Sociopathy is defined by a lack of capability to empathise, domestic abusers aren’t necessarily sociopaths (but do, obviously, lack empathy towards the people they abuse). That’s a false equivalence.

I will stick my toe in here. Out of control emotions can cause harm. Intentional or not. Take parents beating... spanking their kids, maybe causing trauma or not. They might have empathy but their emotions over road their actions. OR they thought it was the best way to control their kids.

Between adult partners....maybe the law tries explain Crimes of Passion in this respect??? Out of control harmful actions?
I am not a lawyer, so am not an authority in what would cover Crimes of Passion.

Regarding the Fox 13 Chopper/Heli footage & todays search in the swamp:

They're following the Power Line Trail. I see numerous LE vehicles and a large white van with a pale blue awning / canopy parked on the bridge that goes over the Big Slough Canal. There's a black & orange buggy that's going back and forth between another group of LE vehicles and the large white van with the awning / canopy.
I'm attaching a map marking the Power Line Trail, the swamp location of where LE is on the bridge, location of the white van w/ awning and where they are in reference to the Laundrie house.
It's quite close imo.

I don't think they're prosecuting. I think they are reporting what Bertolino says - the one sided non-rebuttable positions he is putting out there like "they shared $" but I do think the FBI doesn't mind it especially since he is doing it in writing. MOO

Bertolino is saying they shared costs because the protester interviewer was yelling/asking CL if their dad paid for the flight ticket. Chris Laundrie probably told him to put out a statement to stop that rumor. That's how I took it.

They moved into the house in 2015.

I don't think they did. They may have purchased it then, but it sounded like they moved in from NY not terribly long ago. BL's sister and family lived there first and Gabby and Brian moved in with them. I think! MOO!

The longer this goes, and the bigger it becomes, it is your sentiment that a good defense attorney will admire when it comes time for trial. Any exposure to the case and the "facts" as seen on TV or online makes for a potential mis-trial, or acquital. Nevermind finding people for the jury that haven't been tainted somehow. See OJ and Casey Anthony... In both cases, the general public was SURE both were guilty, and when it came down to it, neither case had enough physical evidence to convince a jury to convict. Both are walking free today.

If there's a trial (but IMO he's dead) they may sequester.
With OJ, there was an enormous amount of physical evidence. I think juries have gone either way no matter the evidence.
If BL's case circumstantial, it's still evidence. Cases have been won on circumstantial alone. If there's enough of it.

As for what made him snap, I would bet that it was the LE interaction at Moab. That is a huge deal to someone who wants to always be in control. LE posed a very real threat to BL then even prior to the homicide. He might not have known exactly what GP said to LE but he knew they had a long conversation and she was crying. Rehashing that later at the scene of the crime would be enough for him to snap IMO.

So, just to be clear. He gets the stressor on Aug 12. They spend the night apart, I am assuming.
Aug 13 they back together.
Aug 14, the travel around utah.
Aug 15 they travel some more.
Aug 16 they travel some more.
Aug 17 BL leaves GB in Utah hotel. Remember he snapped on aug 12. Aug 18, he moves stuff around in florida. Gabby was 3 blocks away from the FBI building.
Aug 19. BL in Florida, still snapped from aug 12th. Gabby 3 blocks away from FBI building.

Aug 21 same

Aug 23 BL goes back to Utah with gabby 3 blocks away from the FBI building.

And even though Rose claims Brian was control freak I dont see it. I would think if you are the one always walking away...if you are the one that needs a time outs, might be because you need space to control your own emotions. Not trying to control someone else. Just my opinion of course.

IMO that's exactly what control freaks do: "do it my way, or else." Abusers of every which kind: "Do it my way, or I'll abandon you."
I haven't seen any evidence that BL takes "time outs". In fact, I've only seen the opposite: he required GP to be with him, e.g. during the DV Moab call, he was in a huff because GP spent 6 hours working on a project that was important to her.
IMO you also don't run home to mom if you are self-aware enough that you need "timeouts". That's like volunteering for a spanking. You go do something by yourself. Take space. Not demand company.

Exactly. And this has been taken to be such a soul crushing example of DV, but I believe it is totally common whenever someone perceives that another person's "dream" has become a "fantasy." I suspect people, here, have experienced this - either with their own lives, their friend's or with their children - where someone wants to be a rock star, actress, NFL quarterback, etc., and eventually has to be introduced to harsh reality. I've certainly been there, and it isn't fun, but it doesn't mean that the person bearing the "bad news" is doing it because they are evil or abusive.

Exactly. We saw her comment on the Moab video but have no idea in what context he said it. He could have just been trying to tell her that there are so many “influencers” that it’s hard to become a top one, making a ton of money. Or, he could have been really mean about it. We really don’t know. He may have just wanted her to put that thought aside and enjoy the trip instead of trying to document perfection. We just don’t know.

There could be multiple bodies in there. From what I understand, even most canals in Florida have bodies in them.

Sadly yes…. Most of them being cars that went off the road into a canal that no one knew to look into… here’s an article where they found a missing person… It took an overhead video to realize the car was up close to houses all that time… took 20 years but we didn’t have modern technology back then. We take searching our canals very seriously down here when someone goes missing or is on the run. …which is why I keep the faith that FL LE , FWC, and many other agencies are keeping up the search for BL. I do believe they will find him. Not sure in what condition, but FL is super well experienced in these kind of searches. Fingers crossed!!

Rehashing at any time could lead to him snapping. Such as "well thanks to you (as abusers blame the victim for their actions) we got grilled by the police..." and it escalates from there IMO.
