His skin cells are probably under her nails - mutual sexual encounters can get a little feisty

Agree. I mentioned this maybe 50 threads ago as problematic, since it's vastly different when the suspect/person of interest is an intimate partner as opposed to a stranger. His DNA is going to be all over her for expected reasons. Intimacy and proximity in a small space.

I feel the icy grip of a cold case creeping in. I hope to God I’m wrong.

His grabbing her in the face forcefully enough to leave wounds is a dead giveaway for me. If he disrespected her that much by August 12, imagine how it probably escalated by the time he IMO killed her. I firmly believe it was physical, not with a gun.

IMO
Also the tantrum at the restaurant. The face squeezing and the tantrum (and the belittling with the cops, and the running away) all dead giveaways IMO

Lunchtime handcuff internet search. Aaaaaand nada. Sure wish for a break here!

I heard the phone call, I am wondering where is the police report.
Probably in the reference thread like the 911 call is. I know the thread is named something else, but you can find it at the beginning of this thread. It's the one which is only for news reports, with no comments allowed.

As far as I can tell, only one person saw Brian hit Gabby, and if that was Chris he changed his mind on the police report and conversation with officer.

Can we confirm that there were two witnesses that spoke with LE? WHO made the phone call??

Morgan Wolfe on Twitter: "Here’s the witness statement from Chris. The time on the document shows it was gathered before @moabpolice caught up with #GabbyPetito The info here matches up w/ the couples story they told police besides this — they didn’t mention #Laundrie took her phone. https://t.co/3l7USMc3cP" / Twitter

I have seen "professionals" on TV comment there were multiple witnesses saying Brian hit Gabby, but I can't find multiple witnesses saying this. I think there is a lot of false information going around.
BBM
That is one person too many.

MOO I don't need multiple witnesses saying he hit her.

If he did that in public, what was it like in private?

I've made it through all sorts of trauma, but not as bad as many posters here. Yet, not once in a little long ago pushing and shoving has anyone ever grabbed my face. You can't even do that to a dog without consequences.

I thought that was an error? I'm not certain but I thought it was changed to the 4th. Which would make sense because the Laundries aka SB now say he left on the 13th.

Thanks, that rings a bell. Keeping up with all the changes is enough to make your head spin with this case. It's 3:44 am her so I'm off to bed.

Is the FBI totally done searching at the reserve?

Yeah, I personally don't think DNA evidence will be necessary in this case, unless, of course, she had an unknown individual's DNA all over her or a murder weapon.

I think digital, witness, and strong circumstantial evidence will be the clencher. Jmo.

Yes, I’m wondering if that is the case. Also thinking about something I read (from NS? I can’t recall) that GP was expected to return to New York at the conclusion of the van life adventure. And it makes me wonder, again, what was GP’s address of record? I haven’t seen DL, passport or the like to know for sure.

Moo
Hmm if she lived with the Laundries
I wonder why she was ending the trip in NY ? A visit with her family or was she moving back home?

He was in a downward spiral, in almost like an out of control centrifuge. I might have felt empathy for him had he stopped himself before killing (IMO) Gabby. Now there's no going back. Man up, coward.

The fact they were fighting in public tells.me they did not fight often. They didn't even think about it! Never crossed their minds someone would.call LE!

I would think the opposite IMO

Here we go again.

If you read the report, you will see that someone else called 911. Chris was at the scene when they responded, and left his phone number with the responding officer. For some reason, the only person they followed up with was Chris, and not the person who called 911.

From what I recall, NS stated that GP was expected to return to New York when she submitted the missing person's report. I wondered if it could be that she had to say that in order to file the report in NY, but that is speculation only. I don't recall hearing anything official one way or the other what GP was doing at the conclusion of her trip. MOO

Edit: I found a thread where I was discussing this before way back on September 30...Anyway, I found an article that states:

Fox News recently obtained the missing persons’ report for Petito, in which her mother, Nichole Schmidt, stated that her daughter was last seen at 7 a.m. on Aug. 30 at Grand Teton National Park. Schmidt wrote in the report that her Long Island home was a "probable destination."

I agree. And with that in mind, I sometimes wonder what mental state he might possibly be in now. I think he's dangerous.

I saw some of the threads, but I wonder why I have not seen a police report from the person that made the call. Did you see a name associated with the phone call? So far I have not found one. LE knows who he is as they have his phone number.
It is not clear why they did not follow up with the original caller. The original caller left a phone number but was not from Moab. Chris was a local who lived in town and had a Moab address. Sources: 911 call; police report.

I heard the phone call, I am wondering where is the police report.
Two possibilities. Either it hasn't been released, or else police never followed up. Since police reports are public record, I tend to favor the latter, but I don't know for sure.
