I'm not a DV abuser but when I think for some time and put myself in his shoes the only logical reason I would encounter would be that the reason to enrage for not "defending him" would be because of the fear of being seen as abusive because she is putting him into the spotlight by apologizing for his reaction.

I think so. It also reveals his deep seated feelings of inadequacy, IMHO. Especially compared to Gabby. "She is out of his league. Everyone knows this, they are thinking the same thing. Everyone in the restaurant. " What I imagine people like BL would be thinking. Jmo

Wecht gets quite a bit wrong. Plenty of sources, including academic ones say up to four to six weeks for full tox report.

That's been my experience on most of the cases I've followed here. Usually around three weeks, depending on whether the lab in question is backed up.

The "murder weapon" would be the hands that did the strangulation but I dont think it would be classified as a "weapon" but a COD (cause of death).

Well, if that is the case, the coroner could easily give blunt force trauma as the COD today without revealing too many details.
