He's a county official, they can vote him out next time if the residents want to. He got >50% of the vote, and has been in office since 2014. Previously the coroner was a deputy LE member.MOO
Considering this was an official statement to the press about Gabby's manner of death, IMO he should not have mentioned or given his opinion on the societal issue regarding media coverage of Gabby's case.
I'm not bashing him, I just don't think he should've mentioned it.

Now that we have a COD/MOD, any ideas why BL would remove/add stickers to the back of the van?
That's actually a really good question. It goes in my mental file cabinet along with other weird facts about Brian. Perhaps Brian was turning the van into his own thing. Perhaps Brian was turning the van into a rolling shrine. Perhaps Gabby bought the stickers as one of her last acts.
what are the new ones?

By the layers of skin found under fingernails. e.g. how deep did her fingernails dig in defense.
Does anyone know which video/photo this is? I’ve looked through the thread but haven’t seen it, if someone has it could you please DM me.Those were my feeling too. Lying there. So open. On the ground. Just…so exposed. I expected them to find her hidden amongst vegetation. Was she left lying in the very spot he killed her? Did he move her there to make sure she’d be found? Was that a movement trigger he expected at some point? He didn’t want to wait forever for her to be found. Decision day? Did he strategically plan for a day like this? Is he keeping an eye on his parents? He had to know it was gonna happen one day. September 19th…
I haven't a clue. I was referencing comments - possibly, misguided? - that a gun was supposedly missing from the Laudrie home and/or a Laundrie vehicle. I can't say if that's an accurate account or not. But if such a firearm exists (or existed), and if it was along for the travels possibly either Petito or Laundrie could conceivably use it to place fear into the other and cause what might be considered 'defensive' behavior of the threatened. Not my initial preface of "Speculative Wondering".I thought the photo of the firearm in a bedroom was from one of the L’s rental homes or a home they had on the market. Not the home they live in. It was discussed several threads ago.
