What date did they install cameras? Around Sept 1st or during the first raid?
Did he return on Sept 6th from DeSoto campgrounds or was that his last day?

We don't know but they had ample opportunity while the three of them were at De Soto, checking in on Sept. 6 and checking out on Sept. 8.

I think Gabby's family is too classy to toss a remote through the TV, but if they weren't, this last hour would have been the time.

So, last night SB said that BL was "grieving" and there was nothing ChL could do to stop him. In the course of this interview it has changed to "BL was a young man who liked to go off camping on his own so it wasn't that big of a deal or cause for alarm."

MOO
Omg. I can’t wait to watch this interview even tho I know it’s going to make my head spin.

What was the questions?

'
Please tell me more about this corner. :)
It was all about what the NPPD was saying versus what SB was maintaining re: his call to the FBI on Monday evening. And then...he did a flip flop (IMO) and said that BL often went out camping on his own so it wasn't a big deal. Yet, last night he said that when BL left the house ChL said BL was grieving and he couldn't stop him. If it sounds confusing, it's because it was. I wish I had thought to record it.

Here is our interview with North Port Police today. They say it was a coincidence the Laundrie parents found the personal items in the reserve. Brian was not followed to the reserve. “We missed him going out there.” And they believe a cause of death will eventually be determined.

The house was variously covered by surveillance, cameras, news crews and protesters and they all missed him leaving . . . how odd!

The part about "BL liked to go on camping trips" with the no big deal attitude was toward the end.

Maybe he was trying to hold out when the rains came but when the water started getting deep he tried to get back to the car (thinking it was still there) and he became injured or attacked by wildlife?
Supposedly, that area was already under water. jmo

Are you kidding me????!

Maybe he should be taking his own advice and remaining silent. Because so much of what he says seems to be contradictory and not helping his clients at all. JMO.

Am not watching tonight's show ( I can't ) but I know in all the previous interviews, SB said he told FBI that B had not come home and SB was definitive that the misper official wasn't made til the 17th

There's something else I'm confused about. I thought it was originally reported that Brian left to go on a day hike. That he left in the morning. But now there are conflicting reports from SB that it was at night that he was grieving/upset and left.

MOO.

I have a theory on this one- Attorney SB has always been vague about this timeline by saying he spoke to BL on the phone in the "morning". Could it be morning on a technicality? I am thinking between 12am-5am of the 13th?

Must have been awfully early in the morning and supposedly SB spoke to him before he went on the hike. jmo

All night I've had the saying "history is told by the winners." Let's face it, there are NO winners in this situation, but what's leaving me a bit squeamish is this weird post-death tour SB is doing on seemingly every channel but the Home Shopping Network. I assume he isn't charging the Ls an hourly rate for these interviews but if he is, I think they are getting ripped off. MOO, but for someone who didn't want anyone to say anything he sure is saying a lot. Again, all MOO and I'm not trying to bash SB, but it just seems a bit odd.

Yes just had a braintrump there! Have deleted it. Apologies for confusion.
No probs.

Okay clearing this up:
First SB stated that Brian had left the home on 9/14 to go for a hike. When he didn't return, the parents went out on 9/15 to look for him, didn't find him but left the car. On 9/16 they retrieved the car

Then Brian Entin noted that the car hadn't been there on 9/13, but was there on 9/14 so he questioned the timeline being put forth by SB.

SB recanted and said they realized that Brian had actually left on 9/13, but still maintained that they had retrieved the car on 9/15.

SB also stated that they had previously told the FBI that Brian had left on the 14th.
Laundrie attorney confirms Brian left to hike preserve day earlier than parents previously claimed

So now SB is claiming they called the FBI to notify them that Brian was on the run on 9/13. However in the previous article I linked he clearly stated:
According to a statement from attorney Steven Bertolino, Brian Laundrie left the home of his parents, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie, in his silver Ford Mustang on Monday, Sept. 13 – not Tuesday, Sept. 14, as they previously told the FBI.

"previously told the FBI" infers that it was a statement made to the FBI when they came to the house to question Brian and found Brian wasn't there.

So SB is already admitting he didn't call the FBI to report Brian missing on 9/13, as he's claiming now.

has he specifically said it was before he left the house on the 13th?
( I'd never understood which phone SB called Brian on, pre-hike)

Could it be that SB is acting up in the hopes of getting a major change of venue for any future legal proceeding? The Ls are not the most popular couple in North Port at the moment.

Does anyone know if Banfield was right? If SB spoke to the 3 of them together (CL, RL, & BL) that there’s no privilege?? She said it pretty confidently! He seemed almost a little shocked when she said (very much paraphrasing lol) hey uh yeah not in criminal proceedings, that only applies to real estate. I almost came outta my chair lol!

There's something else I'm confused about. I thought it was originally reported that Brian left to go on a day hike. That he left in the morning. But now there are conflicting reports from SB that it was at night that he was grieving/upset and left.

So when did Brian's parents first go looking for him? If it was during the night that he left, and later that same night the parents first went looking for him on the 13th, that sounds rather urgent, why didn't they report him being missing and possibly suicidal to the NPPD that night?

Also if they were concerned for his safety, enough to go looking for him on the 14th as well. Why did SB release several statements on the 14th and 15th which gave no hint to him being missing at all.

I mean we got the first statement on behalf of Brian on the 14th when he was already missing. Basically saying they were going to stay in the background. The second statement was about how LE tend to investigate intimate partner's first and Brian's not going to give any comment at this stage. Well DUH that's because he was currently missing feared dead, right, SB?

There seems some level of deceit or obfuscation going on. There's also possibly some semantic trickery, imo, because an official missing report was not filed until the 17th. SB's more recent comments seem to imply the parents were reluctant to officially file that report until that date, despite some sort of 'personal' notification on the 13th to the FBI.

It's all so confusing to me.

I posted this morning that I had watched 2 videos with SB stating BL leaving in the evening. I think he might have booked it on the 12th. Real soon after they picked up Gabby's van on the 11th, at around 11pm to 12am, around that time due to his slip on dates, days and evenings He's not very good and digs a deeper hole than needed for everyone involved. jmo

This article also.

"Let the record be clear, the Laundries reported Brian did not come home the night he went out for the hike," Bertolino told CNN Wednesday. "I actually reported that to the FBI, personally."

Brian Laundrie: Timeline of his disappearance still doesn't jibe among authorities and his family's lawyer - CNN

This makes me think that's how NPPD missed him leaving is all.
