Responded with several agents. 6 days worked tirelessly, no ego's, everyone wanted to help.

Chief did not sleep for the past week.

This part is so key to catching these predators and increasing odds of bringing home a live victim vs. a body or even worse, no body at all.

If all police agencies would work together this way, we wouldn't have such an epidemic of unsolved cases or known predators who are never prosecuted due to a messed up investigation. IMO, police chiefs who refuse or hesitate to work with the feds in situations such as this don't possess the character to lead intelligently lead a police force.

Great work, Cody PD, FBI, and all other agencies who worked together on this case!

Some reporters just don't know how to ask hard questions. Seems like such an obvious question to ask. Even hearing "no comment" or "the two cases are unrelated" as an answer could say so much to us!

Initial description didn't match, so it takes time to make sure that the info that they put out is accurate.

Everyone wants everything immediately. Not like TV where it falls into place in one hour.

Small department, takes time to give best information.

explains about media and releasing info, real life is not tv show, solved in 1 hr: eg, initial info was off (car, hair color, age different than reality), takes time to verify info they release, please trust us

Chief said he was asked not to by the city and state prosecutor not to name him at the press conference so he wouldn't.
