I think the photography website for the suspect has been shut down. Did anyone get to do any research on where he was in 2009 when Lindsey Baum was taken? http://www.jessespeer.com/gallery/landscapes-1/ :fence: Feeling bad I didn't copy the pictures on his website now.:banghead:

ALL of his online footprints are being deleted at warp speed right now

I don't know if it's me and my suspicious nature but the quick FBI involvement, the not officially mentioning his name, and so much disappearing from the net has me wondering what the heck?

What are the dates for Lindsay's case?

I was wondering why authorities would confiscate his eyeglasses. This answers my question. They are one piece of evidence.

ETA: Here is the quote matou cited that I'm referring to:

Quote:
In another surveillance video, Speer's glasses had a blue line on the side of the frame, matching a description the girl gave to police, Beck wrote. The victim also told investigators she saw stacked photographs of naked young girls in the vehicle.

I would think it was a wise move to take them from him .The charges against him are pretty powerful he might turn suicidel ? And cut his wrist to avoid facing another Judge and or his family . Another reason would be to check the glasses where and who made them .

Are all these his images? From a quick look they start in 2007

The dates are mixed, not in order. I got the link from his jessespeer dot com site which linked to archives of his own photos.

What's horrible to me is that he's an excellent photographer, w/ lots of striking photos, but to put that together w/ the assumption that he's also someone who abducted & raped a child, you just don't want to connect those 2 images...& I just can't imagine what would push someone to that point...

No according to this link

Hunting is prohibited within Yellowstone National Park boundaries but Big Game, Upland Birds, and various Waterfowl can be hunted in season on public and national forest area land near Park boundaries, and on private land (60 million acres in Montana alone) when owners grant permission.

Well, I will add years ago my then BF and I were driving through YNP on a peaceful rd with no one in sight. Suddenly we went around a bend and it was like a parking lot of stopped cars! We look over and there were a bunch of tourists running after a herd of Moose trying to get a picture. The next thing we see are the tourists are running back towards their cars as the Moose started chasing them lol. I will never forget it.
Sorry for the o/t but had to share.

OT - People get stupid in Yellowstone and seem to think it's a stinkin' petting zoo. 2 men were gored by bison this past season. It happens every year. There's actually a book out called Death in Yellowstone and it talks about every death that has occurred in the park since it became a National Park. Lots of "stupid deaths" - it's a pretty interesting book actually.

Good find, I see in some of his pics he does have an affinity to worn out shacks and buildings besides capturing absolute beauty.

You never know....

I watched a guy try to give his two-year-old daughter a ride on top of a buffalo that was grazing near one of the geysers...

AroundColorado.com on wayback... Just click on the year twice (whichever you're looking for), then click on a blue circle shown on the actual days, then click on the time link & it takes you to the crawled site data. You can navigate throughout that site but not all of the pages will necessarily work, only if it was crawled. Some pages might prevent a crawl bc of bots & such.

Looks like he loved hiking & camping, searching for new trails, and exploring towns all over Colorado.

Reminder, don't post innocent person's info that will inevitably show up...
