She was ordered to return to court on Dec. 12 for another pretrial conference.​

Since the slayings, Ortega has maintained that she was not involved, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.​

The more I think about this, I suspect she did not plan on suicide, but only hurt herself to make it look like another person did the crime. She is a grudge holder or injustice collector.

I agree with this. It would explain why she waited for the mother to come into the apartment before stabbing herself. She was going to try to blame it on the mother but the mother's reaction and screaming was so visceral that it ruined her plans.

The poor poor mother. I can't imagine how she will ever get over it. I am happy for her that she had another baby and can give her daughter a sibling.

I'm also glad they have moved on and are out of that building and away from crazy people who lie. They have been through enough.

The more I think about this, the more I realize that Yoselyn Ortega has more in common with rampage killers in terms of psychology. She is a grudge holder and represses her rage over time. Her anger is bottled for a long time going back to her childhood. Every little slighting builds up over time and it explodes like a volcano.

Ortega shares similarities with Seung-Hui Cho, Adam Lanza, Aaron Alexis, Steven Kazmierczak, Lori Drew, and Gertrude Baniszewski. Their anger is severely repressed, as they are highly repressed people. I would guess the more repressed a person is, the more anger they have as it affects their psyche.

In light of the Isle Vista Massacre, I could not help notice that Elliot Rodger is similar to Yoselyn Ortega. Both view everything as a huge injustice and complain about everything. They feel they never have enough and are resentful as they see themselves as victims.
