GUILTY Yoselyn Ortega charged with 2 counts ea-1st and 2nd Degree Murder of Krim Children

I really don't see a good reason to keep this killer in the hospital in her comfy bed, being waited on hand and foot. She needs to be in prison. They locked up Andrea Yates after she killed her 5 kids, so why can't this monster be put behind bars. She has been in the hospital for nearly two months now. I don't care what her injuries are, she should be stable enough to be moved.
I wonder about that too.

Frankly speaking 6 weeks in the Hospital is strange to me too.
It does not take that long to test her for Mental Health.
The self inflicted stabs are all sewn up now and must be fairly healed.
The hospital she is in, is a GOOD ONE and every day is expensive.

IMHO this sucks. I am thinking to write to the hospital and let them know that I & others object/resent that she is taken such good care of in one of our better hospitals. Let her be in prison hospital.
But I will wait till next year, just around the corner.
Wise choice :)

.. by then she, maybe, is evaluated .. and promptly moved to more appropriate accomodations :D

When is the next hearing anyhow.. it's been so long now that i forgot (and don't feel like going back to previous pages now to look for it) ... plus that mass murder is on my mind lately more than YO..... :( ... mass murder of little kids, yet, mostly :( :( ... 20 little kids... :( :( :(

Never mind .. i went back and found it :)

"A judge ordered Ms Ortega held without bail while she undergoes psychiatric exam. A court date was set for Jan. 16."

If by the New Year, YO is not moved yet .. .maybe wait until Jan. 16, 2013 then with that letter .. -- see what happens on that date.

Thinking of the Krim Family during this time. Praying for comfort and peace for the family. Also praying YO gets shanked in prison and is left to die on a cold cement floor...

I think being very observant yourself is also key. If the child is old enough to talk, ask him on a regular basis how he likes the nanny, what do they do together, are they having fun, is the nanny smiling and laughing with them? Also have grandma and grandpa stop in occasionally unannounced if they live close. Come home early from time to time and maybe even install a nanny cam.

Have heart to heart talks with the nanny from time to time. Make sure they know that if they want to leave there will be no hard feelings.

Lulu & Leo Fund (facebook)

From Marina Krim --
Thank you all for the holiday wishes - your love definitely raised our spirits today. We are spending Christmas with our family in San Diego. In honor of Leo's love for "tunnel choo-choos," Kevin, Nessie and I took the ...Amtrak Surfliner from downtown LA's Union Station to San Diego. We arrived at Union Station early, so we had some time to wander around Olvera Street, the oldest street in Los Angeles. There, we stumbled upon a large mural by Leo Politi, Lulu's very favorite children's author and illustrator. She received his book "Juanita" as a Christmas present last year and this mural features "The Blessing of the Animals" from "Juanita." Seeing the mural was very moving. Lulu and Leo were there in spirit with us for our Christmas Eve adventure.See More

Hi everyone, and Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. No I was not hit by Sandy Storm, I was very lucky and nothing happened, but my computer is down and I jut got my friends apple Notebook (so I may make mistakes) till I get mine fixed (this week).

I do not have anything to add nor have I read the past 5 pages (which I will).
As you all know the last thing that did happen in the building was a move out.

On a personal note: I do not know if any of you believe in spirits or if you will call me a nut job. (I dont care). but I will tell you my last experience.
Thanksgiving I woke up and I was waving bye bye LITO. I think I have awakened from a dream where LEO the 2 year old was ready to depart. (he used to call himself LITO)
I believe his spirit was here in the building until he said bye bye.
Then to make things more strange. I was watching the Thanksgiving day parade, saw LULU that is the 6 year old....But nobody in the room saw it - only I did. She was on top of someones shoulders, and with her huge smile was waving and looking right into the camera,
I freaked when nobody else in the room saw that.
OK the parade starts right by my house (2 streets away)right by the museum of Natural History on West 77 Street, and as it got to 75th Street I saw it.

I know I am not nuts. And you are all welcome to think that I am. I do not care, but I think some dont leave when we think they do.
Since Thanksgiving I had 4 straight night sleep with out a wake up in the night.

I think once the family removed all the belongings from the building it took a few days before they too left.

-----------------
SongLine you are not nuts. If people havent seen it, it is hard to fathom but it does happen. My son was seen walking in our center hall not by me but someone who had never met him. He went in the bedroom where his new baby grandson was sleeping. There is more but it takes too much space. Leo probably left when he realized his mom and dad were no longer there.Take Care, Nore.

Our office has reason to admit suspects for psych evals a couple times a year. These are for federal charges. I would say it normally takes 60-90 days for most of them. Just for whatever that is worth, LOL.

From Marina and Kevin Krim --

We are hopeful that 2013 will be a year of healing, growth and peace.

Today, we are leaving on a RV trip with some friends to cross the country from LA back to NYC. Along the way, we are hoping to experience some inspiring moments that will help us with our healing and rebuilding when we get back to NYC.
...
We'll share some of those images and stories along the way. Please keep sharing yours with us too.

In the meantime, here's a gorgeous sunset at the beach that Lulu and Leo painted for us.

I cant pull the picture. (my comp)

This article states Bellevue Hospital will not open until Feb. it also states the overbooked hospitals for the mentally ill. Maybe LE cannot get her into a facility to be elevaluated. Good article.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/27/n...em-thrashed-by-services-lost-to-storm.html?hp

I still opose her being where she is.
If Ortega was at Beth Israel I would not be barking.

SANDY storm was after the Nanny Murders.
She was taken to a good Hospital from the start.
Should have been a state hospital with a Mental Health Facility. "BELLVIEW" would have been the right one, and then she would have gone to Beth Israel.
SHE IS STILL IN A BETTER HOSPITAL then she deserves to be in.

As you have read on previous post, The Krim family is driving back to NYC.
I imagine they will need to be here for the case.
A Note From Marina, on face book.

From Marina Krim -- We are on Day 3 of our cross-country journey. We spent the day in charming Santa Fe, New Mexico. We strolled through a few art galleries today and found some pieces at the Canyon Road Contemporary Art Gallery that we are sure Lulu and Leo would have loved.

This one is a NOTE from Kevin Karim that he had written on December 28-12 for his daughter NESSI's 4th birthday.

I was unable to read it untill today... every line kept on braking my heart. TODAY I finally was able to read the entire thing.

WHAT A GREAT NOTE: WOW!!! Yes I cried when I heard the song at the memorial.

Daughter
From Kevin Krim--

I want to wish our daughter Nessie a huge happy birthday. She turns four today. Marina and I couldn't be more proud of her -- she is very smart, beautiful and tough. And she's grown so much over the past two months. She s...aves us every day.

I first heard the song, "Daughter," performed by Loudon Wainwright III, in 2007 around Lulu's first birthday. It grabbed me right away. I dreamed, sentimentally, it'd be the song Lulu and I danced to at her wedding. It only became more important to me when we had our second daughter, Nessie.

I chose this song to open the Memorial Service for Lulu and Leo. Dan Bogart, the kids' music teacher from the "Music for Aardvarks" program in NYC, accompanied by Katy Pfaffl and Laura Bontrager, did an incredible rendition. Please watch the accompanying video of their performance.

I love this line in particular: "Everything she wants, I see she gets."

When I first held Lulu, swaddled up like a little burrito, in the delivery room and her huge eyes looked into mine, I fell so deeply in love with her. It was like nothing I'd ever felt. I joked out loud that she'd already got me to agree to a new car on her 16th birthday. Silently, I had promised her I'd do anything for her.

I believe the Lulu & Leo Fund is something she wants. I believe Lulu and Leo are very happy to be inspiring and teaching people.

http://www.examiner.com/article/kri...c-former-nanny-yoselyn-ortega-prison-hospital

This says she is in a prison hospital. Let's hope it is true. She really needs to be in a jail cell.

I was reading what Kevin Krim said about looking at his newborn baby Lulu and finding himself already agreeing to buy her a new car on her 16th birthday.

I just wonder if he said things like that in front of the nanny and she was jealous of the children and how privileged their lives were going to be?
