Do we suspect him of lying about everything? Is he pretty much incapable of telling the truth at all, at least when it pertains to this horror?

The answer to that may be more complicated than you know.

For now, though, it helps to remember cui bono.

That's a very good question.

Yeah, actually it is. So here's a good answer:

I'm here to provide information. It's the exact same reason I decided to write a book: because I'm afraid that, 14 years since, people are only hearing one side of the story, thus, they're more likely to believe all of this Ramsey propaganda about hostile police forces and courageous DAs and all of that other nonsense. The task I've taken upon myself is to be as eloquent an exponent of the RDI theory (or more accurately, MY RDI theory) as possible so that people can have a solid understanding of each side and be well-informed enough to make their own decisions.

As for fighting, I'm not looking to fight with anyone. But I darn sure won't back down if someone wants a fight with me.

I think most people believe in the accident scenario because they have no explanation as to why the husband would cover for her if she were a cold blooded killer..If it was an accident though ,what stopped JR from calling 911.He already lost one daughter.
It doesn't make sense.Put yourself in the man's shoes for one minute.

Perhaps we should devote a thread to this subject? Just a suggestion.

...and I appreciate that information.

Not only that, but I recognize the differences between the values of the types of information that is provided. Be it observational, factual, fictional, opinionated, hypothetical, propaganda, or ad hominem.

I take it all with a grain of salt.

It was stored in a kitchen drawer?

Why not, man? I keep one of mine on top of a spice rack.

Although, I'm curious as to why you ask that. I just meant that it could have been wherever the head blow happened, IF JB was in fact struck.

I have my doubts as well.
I'll bet.

You mean literally or figuratively? Both.

That's cold, man. Heck, while I'm at it, why would anyone risk hitting her over the head with a gun? if a gun was used to strike JBR as suggested, it could fire accidentally. I'll consider the practical once in a while instead of the same fantasy over and over again.

Whatever it takes.

Who says they did need one? Maybe it was just there when everything went down.

Just saying.

I believe you on that one.

I wouldn't have it any other way, HOTYH.

But truth be told, I wasn't really referring to the WS veterans. I was speaking more of the people who might not know any more than what they get from ten-second news soundbites and have not researched this case the way most of us have.

I'll bet.

I am serious, HOTYH.

Okay. Well, literally speaking, Werner Spitz said that the bulb end of the flashlight fit into the skull puncture. But I'm a little fuzzy as to what you meant on the figurative side.

That I can get behind. I own a few guns, and I can tell you that I would not hit someone over the head with them unless I had no other choice. Not only does it increase the chance of a spontaneous discharge, as you say, but you could damage the gun substantially.

I believe you on that one.

Come on, HOTYH. No need to get personal.

bulb end?
can you refresh,
a link?

Hey, Tadpole.

Yeah, the part where the light comes from.

I think so.

http://misty.angelcities.com/article1.html Go down to footnote 12

Hey SD.

Dr. Werner Spitz, Macomb County, MI Medical Examiner, who worked on the JonBenet Ramsey case has demonstrated that "you can place the end of the flashlight perfectly into her wound." [12]

Just that I had never read that the bulb end was used, Wondering if the flashlight was functional post crime, or if the bulb would have been damaged.

Guess I`ll put a reread of WS comments on my TTD list.

It was kept in the kitchen drawer. It wasn't kept in the room of death. She never went in there.

I didn't say it was kept in the basement room, Fang.

You'll have to tell me where it says it was kept in a kitchen drawer.

So he tried the Glock 19 9mm and it didn't fit?

LOL, you watch too many cartoons. I'm not sure that and IDI would be worried about damaging the gun even if it were possible from crashing the butt down on a little girls skull, and it would only discharge (if that were ever to happen at all) if it were loaded with the safety off. Nah, probably not even then.
