There are so many places thick with woods and briars, or bodies of water, that I feel like it would be smarter to pull off the road and hike a bit (carrying bags ).

But these folks aren't smart. The remains could have been dumped from the road. I do think deer carcass dumping grounds are a great idea for that. Hopefully that's what they'll fnd today!! The area they are searching sounds perfect, and EB was familiar with it.

My father says he'd dump a body off a bridge into the water. Are there bridges y'all can think of who know the area? I'm up in the Triad, so I'm not familiar with the local details.

If this keeps up much longer, I'm going to interview neighbors where EB lived and ask about locations they know of nearby.

But I think they found the spot!!

This is my first post here and just wanted to say that I was impressed with the information and integrity of the site.

Regarding prosthetics, my daughter is an above knee amputee since 6 months old and not to throw anyone off but during times of illness, surgeries, growth spurts etc she would require anywhere from 4 - 10 new prothesis's a year....i simply cannoth fathom how this young girl had not had a new prosthetic in 2 years

I too think they are in the right area. If the bone info comes back as not Zahra's then I will still be focused in the area of Christy Road, Burns Rd, Dudley Shoals, etc.

I feel really confident that she is somewhere along those stretches of road or the ones that connect them. Somewhere heavily wooded or brushy, sparsely populated, perhaps with a little or locally known pull in or dirt road. That is MOO

thank you allusonz. Have you stopped by the prosthetic thread? I know they would love the benefit of you and daughter's personal experiences. You could be really helpful in that thread. SO many of us do no t know about prosthetics or how they differ in children who are still growing etc. Thank you again.

One thing might have. I don't know how to put it and not start a rumor! OK: I, as a layperson, have looked at names of the property owners; there is a name that includes a previous surname of EB. It's a huge chunk of land in that area.

When the MSM says EB lived in that area a few years ago, did we ever figure out which address they meant?

Are they literally searching on land where EB used to live?

A group of us from work are planning a road trip to Hickory this weekend. What we think we are going to accomplish, I do not know. We just wanna help out if we can. We all work for the GCSO, but we are going as civilians. Of course, DH doesn't think this is a very good idea.
