20 to 40 feet from front yard of 2908 Indian Grave Road, Lenoir (from info on Nancy Grace show and a 411.com search)

Thank you for posting that. I need more confirmation on these locations than NG though. Something is not sitting 100% right with me here.

Per NG (liberal grains of salt offered) show and interview with resident Dean Ford, this is where LE is searching on Indian Grave Rd. Take from it what you will.

I just clicked the link and it took me right to the gentlemans house. Zoom out to see the heavily wooded area around it.

Ok I tried uploading a pic...hope I did it right...this is a pic from the end of Carefree Ct. looking east towards Lick mountain....Dragstrip is to the north(left) and Christie is a couple of miles to the south(right). Keep in mind that although this is considered the foothills, it still has rugged terrain.

Thanks tlcox. I don't watch NG so can't comment I suppose. Does anyone have the google earth for the 321 bypass?

Dean Ford said he was standing in his front yard. A 411.com search gave that address for that name. We can wait for the transcript but it wasn't a "she said he said" kind of interview. He was on camera.

Can someone catch me up on how far it is from the Christie Road location (where the first bone was found) to the location of the 'secret search' that was reported on NG tonite?

TIA!!

I know darned good and well that I just read somewhere that this was an area behind a former school of hers, where they "liked to hang out"? Am I losing it, or did anyone else also read that?

It is about 15 miles north.

I dind't read it - but I did hear NG SAY that tonight. I don't know if she was talking about the new search area or not - it was kinda ambigious. But I did hear it.

HTH

Thanks. I just wanted to know if the searchers were there as well.

I looked him up on white pages and you have the correct address.

He said he was standing in his front yard. He could have been anywhere on his property when they filmed it but still on his property.

All that desolate road and they find evidence within 40 yds of homes? I don't get it....
I mean if I'm looking to get rid of something, I'm gonna look for somewhere where it's not likely to be found or not found quickly, which would NOT be right next to the only few houses in miles!

Thank you, Owl. I thought I was losing my mind. Seriously.

I try to avoid when possible but our members who are loyal viewers keep me up to date ;)

Having not heard the interview but only reading transcribed by members - It is possible they meant this sparcely populated area along and near Indian Grave has only 10 or 12 houses. As I said, grains of salt.

I do find the area interesting though as it was one I was looking at earlier this afternoon. Lots of dirt roads connecting paved roads, woods, and few neighbors.

The further north or west you go, many of the roads look like this picture...if you look to the left you see an area that drops off into a valley or holler. These are the types of areas that you find many items dumped at.

anyhow. regardless, If that area is being searched, we here can do nothing but wait, so let's move out from that area and look at some more locations around the Indian Grave Rd route.

I am also going to try to give the Dudley Shoals area some more looking as that is where searching will purportedly begin tomorrow.

ty, I have begun to notice that. Shame really, beautiful areas round you, too bad fly dumping had to messy it up.
