Thank you, that's what I was trying to understand. So there are not searchers present while he is speaking to NG, correct?

No, it appeared to me he was outside (in his front yard?) after the search had ended for the day.

That was my understanding. He was speaking regarding what he had seen today, not was presently seeing. MOO

The WSOC reporter claims at end of video that more searches are planned this week including the Dudley Shoals Road maybe as early as tomorrow.

holy margins blown, sarx! lol

So anybody had a chance to check out any other likely areas?

Yeah, sorry about that, forget sometimes that not everyone is looking at it on a monitor the size of mine. Switched it to a link!

I have often wondered if AB thought of places that he had worked. For those who aren't local we had an awful ice storm Christmas morning around here and we have had many tree crews from "off the mountain" come up and work clearing out the tree debris. They are still cleaning up and will be for years to come.

I'm so tempted to ride out there after dropping off the kids in the morning. I am 'Up the Mountain' but this isn't far.....hmmmm:waitasec:

This is still in the back of my mind...places where AB worked. Areas were they cut trees down and maybe left wood piles. Someone somewhere said something about a wood pile whether it was a tip , a psychic, or a clue they found when searching computeres, letters etc....something was said about trees being cut and piles of wood. Wish we could find out some areas where the company has worked or AB. Anyone seen any timber being cut while out searching?

I saw an area with large piles of brush stacked about in various piles in the middle of a clearing behind a house/building way out in the sticks. Now if I could just remember which site that was. Deal Mill and Rebel Run Little River area if recall.

Hey Everyone, I googled the house I used to share with my ex to see what it showed. I can now say that the google maps are sometime during the year 2007 based on the fact my exes girlfriends car was in the driveway and mine wasn't...LOL. So there probably will be quite a few changes but I remember someone asking if we had a timeframe on them.

does it seem like, to anyone else, that they are working harder on searching, etc for Z than they did for Haleigh?

I think Z case is more organized and those in charge have more experience .

I just googled my house, the image is about 6 months old. I can tell by the flower bed on the side, we only put it in the past spring.

I am betting that since NC is full of such wild, rugged terrain that LE has a pretty good experience with having to search for people in the woods. Als, this investigation seems to be running really smoothly, all agencies working together, everyone coordinating well. I gotta give it to all involved.

ETA Local LE knows the area, knows the personnel/volunteers to call for this kindof searching I'll bet. Also probably has some sort of protocal for looking for lost hunters, hikers, etc. IMO those protocals would just need a little tweaking for the Zahra searches.

If you are using Google Earth (not Google Maps), the imagery date is in the lower left corner.

If you are using Google Maps (not Google Earth), there is no imagery date.

Your mileage may vary, but that's what we've noticed at work and at home...

google earth is sort of like watching the Discovery channels "the Planet" but in the Blair Witch style for me.

Little disorrienting.

oops, back on topic.
