So... AB was in the area yesterday??

If that's the case, 10 to 1 he's gonna try to go the "just disposal" route. I call BS!

ETA: but if LE can only stick the disposal on him, I hope they throw everything in the book at him...obstruction, desecration of a body, aiding and abetting, everything.

Whoa, let's remember, unless you can back it up with msm it is a rumor, let's not go there!

What are you talking about, sarx?

Go where? What is the problem?

As we seem to have significant focus on this area right now, lets try and stay with the SAR aspect as per the thread title and do some research.
What has the weather been like over the last 6 weeks?
Any major rains?
Is there water data for this river? Can we find out how high it might have risen?
Access points in the area?

Sorry, this...

You're right, Sarx. Visceral reaction on my part. My bad.

All I saw was commenting on the posts on the thread. It all has to do with the search!

Ok, maybe it is just the way it is written, but I have a real problem with a bobcat going in and trampling an area that could contain evidence.
I thought this, too, but then remembered seeing these tiny little trail bobcats that wouldn't disturb so much. They're used on mountain trail building, and are more the size of a riding mower I think.

This isn't exactly what I was looking for, but maybe even smaller, one person wide: http://www.utvguide.net/bobcat_2300_4x4.htm

JMO

Deal said the Hickory Police Department has not spoken to Elisa or her attorneys in about a week-and-a-half. However, he said they have “had some conversations” in the last few days with Adam Baker’s attorney, Mark Killian. Deal would not elaborate on what those conversations were about.

Killian said they are cooperating with police.

Article also said

"Deal said investigators returned to Dudley Shoals because of information."

Process of elimination means that AB lead them there, IMO.

I was referring to the post about AB having been there yesterday.

I think Zahra's biological Mother has made her feelings about AB very clear, so he had best stay out of her way if she does arrive in Hickory. Please God, do not let her be on NG or even JVM. GB her.

What it looked to me the officers were looking at was maybe a recently dug hole. It was stated that they were moving leaves away. Oh, I so want Zahra to be found, but I am so afraid to hear just what might have been found today.

Prayers for little Zahra.

I think that IF ED is coming to Hickory it will be because she is coming to collect her daughter's remains. :(

Thank you, sarx. You did not quote the post you were speaking of, so it was confusing.

oh and Mike G said AB had been in the area yesterday but not today.
With his lawyer if I caught that right..........
I found that very interesting.........did AB talk??? finally???

Sarx, et. al.

I was referring to the comments made on HLN for which I have no link for at this time.

I thought the poster saw it on the news? (ab in area)

  • #896
I'm not sure I can make that jump, but I see where you are coming from. It is also an area that they had looked at before, one the EB had shown them. I think they are going back over their paperwork (actually they said that) and looking at areas that needed to be expanded when it came to the search.

question to Sarx:
how far would animal spread of bones (animal interference/carrying of bones) generally be (I know this can vary depending on where the body or body parts.. sorry to be graphic... are initially dumped... ie: buried vs put in water or shallow grave)

Yes, nurse, Mike G. Stated that on HLN. We have always quoted HLN in the past with no problem.

After investigators leave the scene, a few officers will remain behind to keep the area secure overnight, Deal said.

WOW. I got such a feeling reading that.
