I know huh? For me to even think of it makes you wonder just how far a defense team will go. I've heard crazier defense strategies

I think their defense attorney's would be stupid to fight ownership of Zahra's remains.

That makes sense to me..as well...

She would not put out the funds to come here...just on speculation and suspicion...

Perhaps the LE has confirmed...(only to her) that she DOES need to prepare for arrival...

What has the weather been like over the last 6 weeks?
Any major rains?
Is there water data for this river? Can we find out how high it might have risen?
Access points in the area?

1st post but my heart breaks for this child.

Even if you are lazy or unfeeling or just don't give a darn, I can't imagine what it takes to dismember a human being. That is a level of sick that goes beyond understanding. I can't watch gore at the movies...I can't imagine what mentality it takes to consider and execute a plan such as this.

To live in a home with two people capable of such behavior shows this child never had a chance.

I completely understand your feelings.
I cannot imagine doing something like that.
Have always said if I had to kill my own chicken, or OMG a cow, I would be an instantaneous vegetarian. Even if someone else killed it and I had to do the cleaning and butchering from square one I don't think I could stomach it. The amount of disconnect or self preservation it would take to do something like that is just unreal.

Interesting, not that much rain. I don't think that amount would cause that river to rise too significantly.

There appears to be some pools and a fair amount of large rocks which would cause deep spots as well, but I don't think it would be too fast moving looking at the topo.

Not necessarily - from the map I saw there are numerous losing streams in the area - these can run from quite high to dry depending on the feeder system and distribution.

Don't forget during the Christie Road searches there were tornado warnings out and there was definitely rain - how fast it came down and for how long - I dunno.

My thinking regarding these boulders, or rock outcroppings or whatever they are, is this: while it's hard to tell how much they rise up out of the creek bed, and assuming the creek flows downward under the bridge, if there wasn't significant rainfall to raise the water level, the creek may in fact, not have been "flowing".

Am I making sense?

I also think that morning they had the fire at the house and he claimed to go out "to interview for a job" until 2:00, he had done some major body hiding or something of that nature. They wanted to have everything set before calling on the fake kidnapping.

He said he went to "check on a job." I'm thinking it's more like a work order type thing. I'm sure they had already disposed of Zahra before then. Think they just chickened out when the fire dept and police were there earlier.

We do know from descriptions today, the water ranged from quite shallow up to 5 foot in depth, well if the media is correct.
