IMO it seems to me that one can discover useful leads from other sites. As with anything, the information will have to be tested (in my opinion) so that its strengths and weaknesses become apparent.

This becomes apparent in the link to a reddit post about cases Zellner allegedly lost - some appear to be cases she 'won' and some have no apparent link to Zellner at all.

Yes, I've definitely noticed you do say if it's verified or not, thank you😊 Nothing is more disappointing than reading information, or seeing folks new to a case read information that isn't legit or down right misleading IMO

:floorlaugh: Oh the richness. Reddit has been used multiple times, to further conspiracy theories, speculation, and pro-Avery content over months. Talk about cherry picking. In fact I remember when RANCH asked why the heck Reddit was even allowed on WS, in addition to blog sites filled with speculation that have been used as source, and I remember Reddit was deemed as a valid enough source for WS.

The only requirement WS has to provide a link where something was published or stated and use a source that is allowed on WS (meaning a website that is not blocked and is not someone's personal social media).

IIRC there have been several references to Reddit where it has been stated the information has not been verified but they still post it anyway which is admitting your spreading speculation. In my opinion, the 17-0 thing is often used to build an unbeatable image of KZ. Some say, it is synonymous with her.JMO

That's true. In fact, MSM articles that get posted frequently contain errors. I've personally seen this on several cases I've followed. Sometimes the errors are slight, sometimes the errors are pretty bad--one can see a range along the spectrum. Case followers like to parse and argue the meaning of sentences in an article, occasionally only to later learn that the reporter erred or used a certain turn of phrase that created a misunderstanding.

WS's standards for posting are that something can be sourced, and "linked up" and not to an unapproved site. The bar is not super high, but there are some limits, like using FB and certain blogs. The author of the article and publication are responsible for the content of the article including its accuracy or inaccuracy.

Imagine if speculation wasn't allowed and only facts could be posted.... things would come to a screeching halt.

IMO there are many facts to this case that helped me form the conclusion that I have in addition to transcripts, and a few questionable police reports😊

For example

Fact- Manitowoc County's officers participated in a investigation when we were specifically told they were there to
" assist "

Fact- There is no physical evidence to this day to support Kratz's press conference claims about how Teresa was viciously raped, tortured, and killed.

Fact- Nearly every piece of evidence found was found after multiple searches & by those particular officers who were NOT supposed to be investigating.

Fact- not a single print of Averys was on that RAV4, but there was blood & "sweat DNA " throughout.

See what I mean?

Yep, appears to be 1 lab involved.

More than 2,000 people convicted of crimes, including those imprisoned for murder and rape, will be notified by Texas prosecutors about the possibility of defective forensic evidence in their cases because of faulty DNA testing by Austin cops.

The Austin Police Department’s DNA lab was closed in June after a state audit found staffers there were using outdated and incorrect procedures while processing DNA evidence.

The government said Sandra Anderson, 43, planted human bones at crime scenes in Oscoda, Bay City and Oakland County, Mich., between October 2000 and April 2002.

The government said Anderson and her dog, Eagle, searched Michigan's Huron National Forest in June 2001 and April 2002 for a 20-year-old Oscoda woman who vanished in 1980.

The government accused Anderson of planting and pretending to discover human bones and carpet fiber at the site.
