She didn't use the 'C' because that was some random initial that did not fit with the name she ALREADY had been using. She had used the name ZANNY for awhile already. So the C did not fit in with her story.

Plus when you look at the card it looks like the C is a mistake. It is odd so she probably ignored it.

I don't think it is about the cash anyway. I think it is about the deposition. Putting Casey under oath is the purpose of this whole thing. I cannot wait.

But Casey never pings at Sawgrass the day Zenaida is there, and she is somewhere else during that day.

I posted a while back that Morgan is hoping to collect from the A's homeowner's insurance.

CA said early on that she was suppose to keep a journal and that she was planning on writing a book (and I think, now) about what families should do when a child goes missing (something to that effect). They wanted to help others deal with the media, LE, etc. I have never seen anyone write so feverish in a courtroom as I have seen CA do. So there must be a deadline. If she has been given upfront money she has to deliver. John Morgan's just considering the source, that is all it is. jmo

So you're saying that Casey intentionally did not use the name on the card because it didn't fit with her previous stories, right? Then how can you claim that she targeted this particular Z?G?

IMO if Casey did somehow see or learn of ZG's information, either from Sawgrass or from another apartment complex while she was driving around with Tony and his roommate(s) that week, she used ZG's details as inspiration to make her story more "fleshed out," not with the intention that LE would actually track down that specific ZG. Otherwise, she wouldn't have added "Fernandez" and 2 ZG roommates with different names from the actual ZG children.

You mentioned JM getting money from the A's homeowner's insurance. Not sure it would be covered under homeowners. And I'm not sure how it would work only that it appears he will try and link it all together depending on KC's testimony. But at this point I can only guess. jmo

I am asking you to please explain to me/us how a person would think they were gonna "cash in" on a scam or hoax on an inmate with no money, who was facing life in prison or the death penalty?
Remember this suit was filed in 2008.

The inmate managed to make almost $300,000, isn't that why the IRS is coming after her? I think this lawsuit is stupid too. UGH! It's a made up name, get over it. If Casey had said joan smith stole her child, would every Joan Smith have a lawsuit?

Just to be accurate there is no evidence that Casey was at Sawgrass on June 17, 2008. In fact IIRC there are no cell phone pings from Casey in that area that day.

I think those maps are confusing. I looked at ACANDYROSE and I thought it looked like she had been in that vicinity on the night of the 17th.

If your name was Joan Smith and ICA stated on record that she hadn't ruled you out as the kidnapper I'd say go after her. Specially if you were getting death threats to yourself and your children on account of it.

Homeowner's policies cover everyone who resides in the house and sometimes have an endorsement for personal injury which includes judgments for slander/libel/defamation of character.

Casey did rule out this particular ZFG, when she was shown her picture while still being questioned at Universal.
