Dorival excused. Zimmerman had never contacted her again about his list of block captains that he had supposedly recruited or signed up.

New witness:

( ? ) O'Brien - President of the Homeowner's Association at Twin Lakes.

Found out at first Neighborhood Watch meeting that there was a neighborhood watch group being started. In other words, Zimmerman set the whole thing up on his own without the prior knowledge of the HOA.

Talking about how George went to police to initially set up the Neighborhood Watch. That it has/had nothing to do with the HOA.

George joined the Committee. They would give three warnings before having a car towed.

How was decided defendant would notify of problems, nobody else wanted to.
Defense objected, overruled. GZ also got on parking committee with him.
Involved cars parked in wrong place, gave 3 warnings before car towed.

Guy asking about GZ starting the neighborhood block captain program. How was George assigned as NW coordinator. Defense objected as hearsay. Guy asks his knowledge of why George was in charge, he was told anybody could do this and George did, totally separate from HOA.

Judge overrules objection from defense about his take on what NW was about.

HLN - (may be behind because they pause the live testimony rather than breaking away and coming back in, so each commercial puts them behind by a few more minutes) - Paraphrasing, quoting if possible, just trying to keep up:

Witness LE Officer Anthony Raimond (?) on the stand (has been for awhile) and is describing what happened that night.

I called out to the crowd to see if anyone had saran wrap and vaseline because I was going to try to seal the chest wound.

An asian male, a civilian, gave him a plastic grocery bag to assist. Do not recall the color of the bag.

Made the decision to try to seal the exit would first. Lifted Mr Martin's body into a seated position w/ assistance of other officer... wouldn't have done any good to seal chest wound if he didn't seal exit as well so he started there...

Did you feel anything in his clothing when you did that?
Yes, in Mr Martin's clothing I felt a cold can, in his jersey pocket, it felt full.

Describe the jersey pocket - like a sweatshirt where there's a pocket for both hands in the front center.

Was the can in a bag? Don't know.

Did you examine the can or remove it? No.

Why not? It just wasn't on my list of priorities, Sir.

Did you find an exit would on his body? No sir.
Next I laid him back on his back.

Did you continue CPR then? Yes Sir.

Was rescue called to the scene? Yes.

Did they take over CPR when they arrived? Yes.

What did you see them do to treat or assess him? Hooked up EKG.
Was pronounced dead at the scene. (pausing for commercial)
