Last week he represented himself during a five hour appeal hearing before a panel of three senior judges. They have now issued a ruling that upheld the findings of the sheriff in the case.
It concluded that nothing placed before the court demonstrates that any trial in Utah "would be either unfair or that any of his other [human] rights would be violated if extradited."

In a wide-ranging interview, he described his estranged stepson as 'the devil's spawn' and said he was an 'evil' child who punched his mother and grandmother.

He told DailyMail.com: 'He'll do anything to hide from the law. The wheelchair, the mask. It's c**p. There's nothing wrong with him. Everything about him is Nicky.

'My first impression of Nicky was that he had mental problems. He just got worse with every day.

'He would urinate in his brother's bed just to get his brother in trouble. Jump out of windows and run away in his underwear.

'[Rossi's mother] Diana said this is why you don't get involved. But I stuck with it. I felt that they needed a father.'

Fugitive Nicholas Rossi faces 15 years in jail if convicted of rape

District Attorney for Salt Lake County, Sim Gill, told BBC Scotland News that Rossi will face separate trials for each allegation.
His office and their counterparts in Utah County will decide who should prosecute him first.

As an untried prisoner, Rossi will be held in a half-empty jail on the outskirts of a town called Spanish Fork.
With the snow-capped Wasatch Mountains in the distance, Utah County Jail was designed to not look like a prison when it was built 30 years ago.
Instead it resembles a community hospital, although a new security fence is being erected around the perimeter.
Sergeant Garrett Dutson of Utah County Sheriff's Office said the jail has a capacity of 1,000 but is currently holding around 450 inmates.
It houses prisoners who're waiting to go on trial and those serving sentences of under 12 months.
