I have received some information from a reliable verified source who currently wishes to remain anonymous.

The barber and her husband are 100% cleared of any involvement in Bobs case. LE reviewed receipts AND video survellience which confirmed their story and whereabouts the day Bob went missing. LE knows EXACTLY where the Barber and her husband where so they have conclusively ruled them out.

I'm pretty sure the daughters have this same information from LE regarding HOW the barber and her husband were ruled out so why they continue to push the libelous story regarding the barber and her dh is at best questionable.

ETA: REALLY makes me question WHY the daughters asked IS to remove the thread. Were they afraid they posted incriminating information thus wished to have that info removed? I hope LE has copies of all they posted.

I would agree -- but for some reason, it seems that some people involved with the case continue to consider them suspects worthy of attention and resources. (Speaking of resources -- now that the family has control of the estate, have they increased the reward as they said they would?) I can't imagine why family members would want the public to consider something as plausible that the police do not.

There is no reward that I know of.

I would like to know who reported what Bob was wearing since most men don't wear hats in the house?

The timeline is important in a missing person's case.

Daughter RB called police the night of July 27th to ask for a wellness check. I wonder if she gave a time to the police that her father was last seen by the SIL.

We know the next day Mr. Harrod's daughter and SIL's wife, JM, was telling the media Mr. Harrod disappeared between noon and 1:00.

We only have the word of the last person who saw Bob alive on the time.
First we are led to believe SIL last saw Bob between 12 and 1 and later postings and information lead us to believe Bob was home and well at 2:20 or 2:30 when SIL left for the store. When did SIL REALLY last see Bob? and why have the daughters and SIL been unable to clear up when they last saw Bob?

Also, where was the grandson who lives around the block from Bob when SIL was doing the work at the house. IMO the grandson could have easily come in and helped SIL with whatever he did with Bob, (if he did anything with Bob). Anyone know where the grandson was that day?

Hmmm. If Bob was alive and well when SIL left for the hardware store (which we've been led to believe) and SIL had spent the last 4.5 hours or so with him, why wouldn't he remember if Bob was wearing long pants or shorts or what color shirt he was wearing? :waitasec: I get forgetting birthdays or what someone did days or weeks ago, but within hours of a person going missing and having spent 4.5 hours with them how does one forget what someone was wearing in just a few hours?

Grandson: Since July 27, was a Monday, he probably was at work.
Although, that is just a guess.

I sure wish PPD would give the latest time of phone calls or something more to work with.

I hope LE has a solid alibi for grandson. If he was at work they should have been able to verify that. If so, I wish they would list him as being ruled out.

However we don't know what time SIL left Bobs home after finishing the work he did or what time he arrived home-which could be after grandson would arrive home from work depending on grandsons hours and if he was employed at the time Bob went missing. We only know LE verified the time SIL was at the hardware store.

It would be really helpful if we had the following info for the timeline.

Time SIL arrived at Bobs home
What work was done in the home
Time SIL left for CVS and returned from CVS (if this is factual and not rumor)
Time SIL left Bobs home after finishing repairs
Time SIL arrived home
what if any efforts were made by SIL to locate Bob or Bobs grandson who lives in the immediate neighborhood to check on his grandpa prior to his departure home.

What I found out from working on NaMus cases, is that
the NaMus case manger helps with that.
When I first began putting cases into NaMus, I used to put pending on dental charts and dna, but then was told not to by a NaMus case manager.
Case manger is shown under Contacts on NaMus.

The free dna tests come from the police. Police get them from
the Texas DNA lab.
But, the problem arises when police departments are unaware of this free dna process.
Also, dna swabs can be done at any states Nat'l Missing Person Day event.

The report of the white hat always stuck with me. My Grandfather used to put a hat on when he went out. I am wondering if this report means that Mr. Harrod was about to go out when last seen? Did he think he was going along to Home Depot? Or was the description a red herring to make people believe he was going out?

Also, was there ever an inventory and verification of the number of pairs of eye glasses Bob owned? One of Bobs daughters posted at IS that they had found 3 pairs of glasses but discovered a photo which looked like a recently purchased/newer pair. I'm interpreting this to mean the daughters knew of 3 pairs, found three and thought Bob left without his glasses but realized via a recent photo Bob had a 4th pair they were not previously aware of......

Wouldn't there be a way to determine how many pairs of glasses Bob had through his
opthamologist or eye doctor? Clearly there has to be some record somewhere of filled eyeglass prescriptions. Which could at least confirm whether or not Bob actually left with or without his glasses.

I thought about the reading glasses which can be purchased at a grocery store, but if Bob needed prescription glasses versus just reading glasses he likely had prescriptions which would have records of filling.

One of the earlier media articles indicated Bob became a self made man through real estate investments. Any info on not only what properties he may hold but also what mortgages he may hold?

As a former state licensed realtor in IL - licensed lapsed but in good standing - and I can find some other RE peeps/WS's there in So Cal...

Anyone have access to this or should we seek out the peeps who have this knowledge from other forums here at WS?

Thanks for the info. Since Fontelle was relaying info over the phone from MO to the PPD, perhaps the info came from daughter JM who had called her, who got the info from husband/SIL JM?

I also think it's odd that the shirt color was unknown, even at the time the info was entered into Namus by the daughter (update entered into Namus on Aug 18th).
