IF the cadaver dogs smelled the rotting meat in the nearby bins and mistook that for 'scents' in the car, then the dogs were not very well trained.
Was there more than one set of cadaver dogs used? Were there not 2 dogs used? Did both alert to the tire well thingy?

New Suspect and Search?

http://www.independent.ie/world-news/convicted-terrorist-quizzed--in-hunt--for-maddy-1085008.html

Eef Hoos (61), who owns an incinerator about 20 miles from where Madeleine disappeared, claimed that detectives from the Policia Judiciaria said that they knew he had spoken to the missing girl's parents.

"Two officers asked me if I had anything to do with her, and have you spoken to the parents. They said they knew I had spoken to the parents -- it's not true," he said.

"Everything in my furnace -- I have the names of the people and I see what's in the bags. The police want to see my list of clients."

Mr Hoos, who operates a business called Creon Starlight to dispose of pets in the town of Monchique, moved to Portugal after serving a seven-year sentence in the Netherlands for a series of bomb attacks in 1988 in which one person was seriously injured. He said yesterday: "The police said to me you have a very bad name. I am the biggest bombmaker in the world."

And the next search:

Search teams were reported to be preparing to scour rugged coastline and wasteland west of the town of Praia da Luz. Luis Bilro Verao, the public prosecutor leading the case, said on Wednesday night: "The Policia Judiciaria will carry out new operations under the order of the Ministerio Publico."

The couple believe its use as a "dumper truck" ferrying rotting meat, chicken carcasses and food scraps to nearby bins during the summer could also explain the excited reaction of specialist sniffer dogs when shown the car last month as part of a review of the case.
No, it sounds as if they're saying the car was used to carry the rotting meat, chicken carcasses and food scraps. Another one of the great McCannisms offering lame excuses to contradict evidence. The more they talk, the deeper the hole.

What this all sounds like to me is the PJ asking questions:

PJ:"How did Maddy's DNA get in the trunk?"
McCanns:"How the hell should I know - perhaps her sandals had sweat on them"

PJ: Why did the cadaver dogs hit on the car?
McCanns: How the hell should I know. Perhaps they smelled the dead chicken carcasses we had in our garbage.

Obviously the mccanns dont' understand that cadaver dogs don't signal for chicken.

It is confusing.

I have recently been reading this:
". . . Three key words that pointed the finger of suspicion at Kate McCann were finally laid to rest yesterday. Friends insisted she never screamed "They've taken her!" when she discovered Madeleine had vanished. . . "

". . . Instead, she came running frantically from the family's holiday apartment shouting "Madeleine's gone! Madeleine's gone!". . ."

Quite frankly, Kate supposedly yelling "they've taken her" was so suspicious to me that its one of the MAJOR reasons I doubted the parents. If its not true, well then perhaps I am much more on the fence.

It is a tactic if the child was already dead before the dinner and the whole thing of not watching her was meant to be found out (whether they admitted it or it was proven by detectives and witnesses) as it then became the major distraction that diverted so many from investigating the case of parents in foul play because they are diverted to argue over whether the parents were or were not negligent and then getting angry over that aspect of things. It is the tactic of letting yourself appear to "get caught" at doing a stupid thing to avoid being considered for doing some evil thing with worse consequences.

Having said that: I am not accusing the parents of doing the crime. I am talking about a single possibility among many possibilities in this case. It is possible they did the crime and it is possible that the neglect was a tactic used in the cover up but it is not anything more than a possibility at this point. I just think the possibility needs to be considered before spending too much time worrying that old bone of the parental neglect.

Maybe that old bone was tossed out there to be found. :)

Ok, I get what you are saying, is it true Doc that Maddie was last seen at 6 pm, TIA!

I don't know if this is possible or Science fiction!!!

Or just wishful thinking!! It's printed at the bottom of the article.

And an intelligence expert has said photographs taken by spy satellites could hold the key to Madeleine's disappearance.
Professor Glees, who is director of Brunel University's Centre for Intelligence and Security Studies, said the little-known Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre, based at RAF Brampton, Cambridgeshire, is a world leader in analysing aerial and satellite imagery. It could collect and examine all the imagery that can be found of Praia da Luz, where the McCanns were on holiday, dating back to May 2. "It is perfectly possible that the European Commission's satellites, which track fishing boats, may also be able to shed light on Madeleine's fate. JARIC will quickly tell us," he said.

This could explain a lot April, but Im not holding my breath, everytime we think we are going to hear the truth, it turns out to be a myth, or provided by an ureliable source, rumour etc.

I do not know for sure but here is what I have been able to find online so far this evening to use as source links. (I am sure that there are others here better at finding such things out than I am. Hopefully they will post sources for us.)

" . . .Given that Mrs McCann discovered Madeleine was missing at 10pm, this would mean the youngster died some time between being collected from a creche at 6.30pm . . ."

" . . . GRACE: Amy, I, for the life of me, cannot establish a timeline. Out to Emily Chang in Rothley, England, none of these guests that had dinner with the McCanns can place Maddy at any time that evening. Nobody saw Maddy alive. What time was the last time Maddy was seen alive by anybody other than the parents? . . ."

" . . . CHANG: Well, the last time Maddy was seen alive was about 2 1/2 hours before the McCanns went to dinner. And their account of what happened hangs on the accounts of about seven friends that they were having dinner with. And all of those friends have come out publicly supporting them, the McCanns, proclaiming their innocence. However, not all of them have -- we don`t know exactly what they`ve said to police. . . ."

Very interesting info. I hope we get to hear its outcome.

Were the McCanns keeping chickens in their apartment?

I know - I'm in disbelief! Doesn't it seem strange that people who are paying for a luxury vacation at a resort would "ferry" their garbage a mile every day? Wouldn't they demand some sort of garbage can instead? I've actually been looking at pictures of the resort trying to see a dumpster. It's true that if they have one there it is well-hidden. But surely they didn't have to drive around with garbage every day - unreal.

Pictures of the resort - the place just looks too classy to not have garbage service of some sort:

Stuff like this is getting to me. I had a bad dream last night about Maddie - I was in a dark building and we were running down a hallway together trying to get away from someone, and I thought "what a horrible place." Then she was sitting at a table looking at a newspaper full of pictures. I woke up this morning wanting to look around at pictures of the resort. I know that's weird, but it's just getting to me that the stories keep changing, and meanwhile, no one knows where this little girl is!

Thoughtfox,

I dreamt about her too...and about all of you.

I dreamt that we had a system where by we could all get an instant text message on our phones if something big happened in the case.

I kept getting a text message...."Maddie found....Alive" or maybe it was "....Dead"

I couldn't read it and it kept dissapearing off the screen before I could see it.

Felt really desperate and scary....

Well, well, seems that there is some discord amongst the players in the pact....

"Friend denies McCanns version"

"Maddie was not seen with both parents on the fatal afternoon"

"One of the seven English people in Kate and Gerry's holiday group guarantees he/she stopped seeing little Maddie around 2.30 p.m., a long time before the alarm was raised"

"The witness says that Gerry and Kate spent the afternoon apart, and not in a restaurant with their children, as had been reported until now"

The McCann media machine claims Portugal want them guilty because kidnapping is bad for business. A luxury resort without gargae facilites isn't?

I understand how you feel. :blowkiss:

Now there are about 6 hours between the last sighting (assuming the photo time is legit) and Tapas time. I think that this witness probably told the police this in the beginning. Just because the Tapas group did not blab to the press doesn't mean that they held back from the police.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1770

senior Portuguese police source says they cannot confirm the whereabouts of Kate McCann and her daughter between 2.29pm - when the last photograph of the girl was taken - and 8.30pm when her mother arrived at a tapas bar for dinner.
...

But the police source said he was unsure of the reliability of the statement. He said: "These are people who spent a lot of time with their friends yet no one saw Madeleine or Kate for much of that day.

"We are very doubtful that Madeleine disappeared when the McCanns were at dinner. It is highly likely she was gone at some point during those six hours we know nothing about. As far as we are concerned Gerry and Kate are suspects in this investigation."
