I´m sending out the following request (post it to your wall, please ) so that people will ask Ellen Degeneres, etc... for help in finding Dirk. It will work if some more people ask.

Thank you for your continued support in looking for my missing son Dirk. While your support is very appreciated, many people still do not know about Dirk, or of the injustice that has occurred. I ask that you write a short letter/email to Ellen Degene ...res,David Letterman,Nancy Grace( and any other talk show hosts you can think of), or make a post to their wall, asking them to help raise awareness for him. Dirk is no longer a little boy, but that does not mean he doesn't need to come home. He is still Missed. I am still Looking. Please do not give up on my son. I won´t ! THANKS Heidi

My heart goes out to you. I hope the gentleman who seems to be a possible match for your son changes his mind and agrees to a DNA test. Or that someone close to him starts being suspicious and persuades him to do that.

Dirk Schiller - your son was taken on a country road in former East Germany. Can you please tell us what the initial law enforcement response was after you reported him missing?

I don't want to put you through rehashing painful details, its just that the initial police response can often give us clues as to where to look and where not to waste our time.

I also hope that the man in question relents about DNA tests.

thanks for your interest in finding my abducted son,if I don´t get it wrong, do you want me to give you the name and address of the german police station from the former east Germany who has all case files?

Heidi,

May you be commended for your continuing search for Dirk. Have spent a few hours reading and reseaching. Hopefully the man in question will consent to DNA testing. Here is a decent side by side visual for comparison purposes with Dirk's age progressed picture. There are probably certan dynamics at play in Chile which may be preventing him from going the DNA route right now. There is some good music on youtube (even though I couldn't understand the lyrics).

May you soon be reunited with your son Dirk.

What an ordeal you have experienced. I can't imagine it. Your strength and endurance are inspiring. I hope the young man will agree to a DNA test. If he turns out to be your son he would find a mother who has loved him and always will.

Thank you for sharing all that you and your family have been through. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We will all hope together for you to find your son.

I couldn't sleep, so I logged on here and read this from beginning to end.

My heart goes out to you and your family!

Question:

As an adult with an open fontanelle, is there anything special that one would notice? For example, could one play sports such as football or basketball or would that be too dangerous?

Heidi,

My heart always goes with you & your family. I've read some of your posts and still believe that Dirk is alive today at somewhere. He's too young to remember what happened when someone kidnapped him. It's sad that some sick people took babies as their own when they couldn't have kids under the circumstances. I prayed that someday he/you would be reunited happily. Don't give up your hope.

Roberto Yáñez Betancourt y Honecker was born 1974/5. Dirk vanished in 1979.
So how could Roberto be Dirk?

My prayers are with you as you search for your son. Miracles do still happen. Don't give up. I'll go to the FB pages and I'll write letters in the hope that someone will do a show on your missing son.

It looks like Heidi is awaiting DNA results to see if a person is her son. No details really other than his mother-in-law contacted her and he is apparently unaware. (assuming I am translating correctly). If Heidi still checks in, maybe she could elaborate?

For the many of you here who are expert sleuthers: Is there a way that the age-progressed photo can be professionally -maybe with computer software or something- compared with the actual photo of the Chilean? And would this be something available to amateurs/general civilian types? Or have I been watching too much CSI? That's entirely possible...............
