Would someone who has watched the video be able to summarise what GH says about this bank surveillance siting?

I can only say from my watching it:

1. GHI takes as gospel the story of this extra surveillance footage of Caleb, held back by police for some inexplicable reason.

2. It allegedly shows Caleb near Simon Bank walking south
toward the Oso Bay hiking trails.

3. I must admit his speculation irritates me, but here are some screenshots from the transcript, and anyone who thinks that this is legitimate new information with import can continue with the transcript. I kind of doubt the relevance, myself.

I suspect that we won't be allowed to discuss this new video from GH because it's social media based including Reddit and a family member on Facebook confirming most of GH's "leaks" from the previous video, but the surveillance footage is at Simmons Bank which is at 2051 Rodd Field Rd, 1.6 miles from the apartment and not on the most direct path to the trails.

Additionally, the bank is next to a little park. Could that have been the intended meetup spot, not the trails?

Who in their right mind hangs out at a sewage plant? right... criminals looking to dump a body.
But also accidents, animals/children/teens/humans falling in.

And.... Urban explorers looking for thrills.

I was mistaken, as was GH, not a family member but a trusted family friend and admin of the one Facebook group.

I’m sure they would, if only to rule out foul play.
But are we sure all facilities have those cameras? Hopefully they do.

So this 2016 case took 4 years for the arrest? And presumably the suspect placed the victim in the sewer system?

Yes it looks like the suspect had fled to Mexico and LE was eventually able to arrest him when he returned to the states.

I hope CC has that technology also! I know in our city there are contractors that use cameras to look for blockages in residential lines, so I would certainly think CC has that ability.

There are other cases of murderers using sewage systems. Researching it— I know accidental death is certainly a possibility, but I was not aware of some of these other cases in the US, and Europe also including the Sewage plant murders in Germany. I know it’s morbid, but just researching….

Unfortunately, if the city does not have security it's an easy place to dump bodies. If we know criminals already are aware decades ago. I was just shocked at how many official city and federal property has little to no security or cameras.

Jennifer Kesse, and several other cases have video evidence that haven't helped solve their cases. It's really not uncommon for video to not give much information.

I'd prefer to have a photo or video vs none though.

I’d think one would have ordered the items from the convenience store for delivery because you don’t want to drive or walk to get it yourself.

With all the walking he may have done if he walked towards Simmons Bank (2 mi away?), you’d think he almost might have been able to go get it himself!

But—priorities. He had something else in mind for his time? A meetup?
Or, was he just super-restless and unable to sleep due to being under the influence or did he have a mind full of worries?

Since the news of remains being found in the drainage pipe system broke I have had thoughts of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (Sorry!)

But I did find this article that may help shed some light on this “hobby”. We still don’t if these remains are Caleb, nor do we know this person ended up in the pipe system, but I found this article interesting.

It's 3 miles/4 minutes away by car. Starting address: 1938 Ennis Joslin Rd, ending address: 9602 S Padre Island Dr

I cannot imagine how much that would cost. Security cameras are pretty cheap now.
I think all the true crimes and missing person cases could be solved a lot quicker with video footage.
The only case that still eludes everyone seems to be Missy Bevers's case.

CCTV is cheap but the problem is storage and retention. There's at least one recent case that I know of where the missing person was at a Chevron but by the time the family/LE had found this info, it had already been erased.
