I've only read he called around 11 pm or 12 am which was hours after the shooting.
Anyone else hear that he called LE before the shooting?

I know. I'm hoping that the reasoning is that she is due to brief on Monday and maybe they are just waiting to get some information from her first. I feel there has been bi-partisan outrage over what happened. The USSS are tasked with protecting the office of the president, future, current and former.

I'm not holding my breath she will appear on Monday. She was to appear on the 18th and HHS prevented her from speaking.

She's been issue a subpoena for the hearing on Monday.

Taking bets, she's a no-show.

I have a question about the section I bolded and underlined above. Did he mention whose responsibility it was for the victim's head to be down? I have brought that up before that height wouldn't matter had he just ducked his head (and that the other SS agents shouldn't have ducked their heads as they did. The wrong people were doing the head ducking IMO! Was it their responsibility to put a hand on his head and hold it down, or to tell him "Head DOWN, Sir!!!"?

And now that I'm looking at the picture again, the one closest to his right (our left) looks like he's praying he doesn't get hit. The woman looks like she's looking down so as not to trip on anything, or perhaps turned to listen to what the guy with his hand on her back is saying to her/them.

With all that said, he really needed to duck his head, and since he didn't, I wonder who that's on? SS because it was protocol (IF it was their protocol, hence me asking above if that's part of what they were trained to do), or Trump because he wouldn't duck his own head?

That photo goes against everything SS are trained to do.
Soon after the 25:20 mark in the Trisha/Jim YouTube he said as soon as Trump was standing he should have been surrounded by the agents with Trump's head down and not visible and gotten as quickly as possible to the vehicle.
When in a situation like this when the president's (or any other person they're protecting) life is in danger the SS has the full authority to handle the situation their way no matter what the president says or wants or doesn't want to do.
SS Jim said it's not like if when he was protecting Obama and let's say Obama decided he wanted to walk down the street for pizza and his agent (s) advised against it for security reasons and Obama insisted, Obama would get his way because his life was not in danger.

If this is true, then it raises questions concerning the Secret Service protection detail.

I can see it raising questions whether the protection detail were spread too thin on the same day at different locations or if they are understaffed.

It also makes you wonder if the agents that placed Trump into the SUV after the shooting were the actual Secret Service agents or agents from another agency.

If you listen to Tricia's YouTube interview with Former Secret Service Agent Tim Rathmann, he explains who the various parties are. All of the agents on the stage and at the black SUV were SS agents, Trump's team. It's a great interview, it will answer many questions.

I do not know about on a daily/weekly basis now if he is President Trumps doctor, but he was his doctor for the 4 years he was in the WH. The letter says he's been with the President since the night of the shooting and he is traveling to the rally today with him and then back to DC for the week. It sounds like he rushed to his side due to being concerned for him.

I have wondered if TMC was a convicted juvenile felon since the rifle used was his father's, the rifle wasn't necessarily the best and I think he had a good deal of discretionary income from having a job while living at home. Certain juvenile offenses can result in a lifetime firearms ban even if those offenses don't otherwise impact now-adult juvenile offenders.

I don't think there's been any evidence or incidents reported thus far to support TC was a convicted felon -- juvenile or otherwise. And I also don't think using his father's rifle that was acquired legally 11+ years ago is out of the norm.

I think he's well qualified to write a report. It's a pretty straightforward wound and he's describing the healing process, so he doesn't need to run tests or review of systems. He's just examining a wound.
